This is a great little Pizza place in the hart of paradise ! I have been hearing about this place for years. I stopped in today on my way by and had a late lunch. The Pizza was Excellent The girls out front were very nice and helpful. It is located in the climbing capital of this region and most of the people who hang out are climbers.

The food is from local farms and the burgers and cheeses are sooooo appetizing. They bring the best in freshly prepared foods to your table. The portions are huge, the food is unique and delicious, made from hand-selected, local produce and farms. You won't leave hungry or disappointed!
This is a small restaurant located intentionally in Wolfe County so they could offer beer on the menu.

We were pleasantly surprised that there were vegetarian options at the restaurant. They offered veggie burgers, portabella burgers, and veggie burgers on the dinner menu when we were there. The servers were efficient and the food was tasty.

We are a coffee shoppe in Red River Gorge, KY. This is the only place to get espresso in the gorge! We serve lattes, cappuccinos, tea, etc and usually have regular, almond, coconut, and soy milk for all your dietary needs. We serve breakfast sandwiches all day long (egg, sausage, bacon, cheese, ham, etc) on your choice of bagel, bread, or croissant. We also serve sandwiches (turkey, ham, chicken salad), wraps, and hamburgers at any time of day. In addition, we sell a few groceries such as eggs, milk, bread, hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, lot of frozen meat and fish, s'more supplies, and much more! Feel free to call our telephone and ask what we sell! (Also, sell a lot of souvenirs, camping and climbing supplies)
Coffee was good but Breakfast selections were limited and not that great. They have a small selection of dry goods and souvenirs but nothing much that I would recommend people to go for.

The Red River Gorge area of Kentucky and the Natural Bridge State Park in Slade, Kentucky are popular for the great hiking and rock climbing and the fantastic scenery. Despite the region's popularity, lodging and dining options are limited. During a recent visit, we visited four eateries and dined at three of them. Our hands- down favorite was the La Cabana Tex-Mex restaurant located at 1289 Natural Bridge Road. The menu offerings were plentiful, the service was quick and friendly, the food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant is closed for a good part of the late fall to early spring period. It is open Thursday through Sunday during the rest of the year.

Nice, clean place with a friendly, hometown atmosphere. Good selection, always fresh, clean & delicious! Located in the shell station in clay city, it has a good selection of chips, candy, or a variety of sodas to pair with your sub sandwich, so you aren't tied down to a select variety of snacks like you are in your standard subway shop. All in all, not a fancy sit down restaurant, but subway restaurants never claim to be. Just a good, homey, friendly environment with excellent quality food!

Not sure why this place is under 'restaurant' category and not 'hotels'
Stayed here for just a night with my wife and daughter as it was too cold to camp at Miguel's. The staff was friendly and helpful in making the reservation. The room was clean with basic amenities. Our room had a small refrigerator and a microwave as well. Some of the rooms have parking in the front as well as in the back. They don't serve any breakfast.
If I am back in the area for hiking / climbing and camping is not an option, I won't mind staying here again.

Really liked it here---service was good and food was good too! One of the only restaurants in this area. Very clean and well-maintained.

The last place I'd have ever expected a sub shoppe is at the Natural Bridge exit on the Mountain Parkway. A Shell mega-gas station and a couple local tourist trap gift shoppes would be expected in this tourist mecca for Red River Gorge.
Having had less than a stellar meal at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park the previous night, we opted out of dinner here at Natural Bridge when while touring the area we found this Subway.
The place was spotless, even the parkintg lot. The sandwich-maker behind the counter appeared to be of college age and quite efficiently friendly. The supervisor who was doing inventory was also efficient but not particularly friendly - guess I took her away from something unpleasant.
A $5 footlong and a six incher later, with two drinks and chips plus a bag of cookies was $13 and change - less than half the $30 bill of the Lodge dining room the previous night, appearing that park prices are uniform across the state. We went back to the room and had dinner on the balcony - see photo below.
We could of, and should of, after having breakfast at the lodge, had breakfast here, also.
Will we go back - sure thing, particularly to try their breakfast?

A great new restaurant in the heart of the Natural Bridge/Slade area. We offer gourmet burgers, a full buffet, great barbeque, and an outstanding Sunday brunch. come on down and see us some time!
The people are very friendly, and the food is very good, but the time it takes to get your food is ridiculous. However, this is a new restaurant and I am sure they will improve, because they are trying very hard and I would definitely give them a return visit.
