Very nice restaurant in Patmos with highly professional staff members: the service is efficient and charming, the wine list of greek wines is great and the sommelier is helpful, the barmaids prepare amazing cocktails, the food is good, a successful mix of greek and fusion food and Susan the host is a Lady. We have been there a few times (the restaurant and the tapas) and always liked the good vibe.

Every details counts and you can see that these people are great professionals: the presentation of the menu, the thickness of the paper napkins, the immaculate cleanliness of the place everything is an improvement compared to other tavernas.
In addition the location and view are good, the food is VERY good (superb vegetables from the garden and well grilled meat) and the service is nice and very efficient

Nice street restaurant with very warm and friendly staff. My Dorada Fish had been cooked to my absolute requirements, however, the Pork Tenderloin was unfortunately overcooked and tough and not ever to be tried again, the cats enjoyed there supper. Overall only 50 percent happy.

Very nice typical Greek taverna right by the water. You feel like the entire family is in the kitchen. Typical Greek fare. Try the goat for the local flavour. Don't come too late as food is only made fresh and half the menu was gone by 9pm on the night we were there.

Oklacà - on Skala's sunset beach, 7 minutes away from the main square- is the only place in Patmos where to enjoy one of the best sunset of Patmos with genuine italian food. The restaurant bar serves cocktails and appetizers at the sunset and dinner from 6.30 pm. Our cooking takes advantage of a careful selection of fresh, local ingredients, and great expertise goes into preparing our dishes, with an inspiration that springs from the soul of the Mediterranean. Our menu includes dishes from the classic Neapolitan tradition, which we interpret with respectful simplicity and offer with every detail natural and authentic. The result is a zestful and wonderfully satisfying cuisine perfectly in harmony with the atmosphere and life-style of this wild and natural corner of the island. We pair them with wines that are truly the expression of our soul, which, year after year, we select with passion and painstaking attention.
Oklaca, you may say is the only specilised European restaurant on Patmos island. But its location and ambience makes the real difference..Only meters from the sea, it has a large, tastefully decorated garden/lounge area that includes slightly raised platform for occasional live performance..The view is beautiful, the general setting is peaceful and marvellous..(If you show up early you may have to put up with European youngsters in groups!) Anyway, the ideal reservation time is around 20.00-20.30 anyway, so you can marvel at the changing of colours during sunset.
The menu is speciliased and brief; couple of pastas, some anti pasta and Deserts.. All fresh, carefully selected and presented items. Wine list's also adequate.
Owner Enrico's at hand and controls all even introducing you to the wild porcupine, the house pet thats visits the restaurant regularly.. He is from Napoli so basically you're at good hands as far as Mediteranean food's concerned..
If you are a couple in love/still in love and happen to be in Scala, Patmos you must find some reason to enjoy this restaurant together. i.e: holding hands, watching the sunset and sipping chilled white vine! Thats what we did..
P.s: Oclaka is only minutes from Skala in the direction of Hora, but as you come to the ramp, slow down and make sharp right turn to unnoticable exit.
Karaca B from Constantinople.

Anchored off Agriolivadi beach the Taberna and the beach front Umbrellas looked idyllic.
The restaurant has two areas, one for dining and the other more a relaxing beach bar. Although a remote beach it was popular with the locals and served excellent food.
Service was friendly and there is a small jetty to tie up your dingy. A beautiful and sheltered bay coupled by the warm welcome will make this a definite stop in the future

situated above a great beach, this is the best place within walking distance to grab a snack and a cold drink after swimming. The baked goods are particularly famous, as is the hospitality of the owner. Try the gallactabouriko or a quiche and a salad if you want a simple lunch. Be forewarned however that the menu is rather small so there is usually no hot food served and only a handful of lunch dishes every day. However, if you want to grab a simple bite after swimming at Vagia Beach this is your best option

Given the previous reviews on TripAdvisor for this restaurant, we went expecting beautiful fresh seafood. Whilst there is fresh seafood and they showcase it in one of those open display cabinets (with flies swarming around it), there was a lack of variety of seafood on offer. We asked after the seafood pasta, only to be told the prawns are frozen. We asked for sardines, only to be told they had run out. We ordered octopus and calamari only for both to be chewy and cooked poorly! The array of side dishes on offer was also limited. The service was bit scattered and the waiters had a bit of a chip on their shoulder. Not very welcoming for Greeks!
