My husband and I have just finished three weeks travelling around the Philippines, and can honestly say the hospitality we received from all the staff at Salamandas was the best of the entire trip!
The food is delicious and varied, we especially loved the Banana Pancakes which we had for breakfast most days. For the evenings, the Brazilian Steak comes highly recommended.
As for the staff, they are all truly beautiful inside and out.
A special thanks to Joey who we grew very fond of during our stay. Her bubbly kind personality can’t help but make you smile.
Also, a huge thank you to Roselio who treated us like Royalty every time we visited the restaurant, and even arranged a private candle lit table for us on our last evening when we were feeling tired after our busy days diving.
We miss you and hope to see you again one day.

Charming resort with separately named cabins and pebble or concrete pathways along the Hans Christian Andersen theme. Very nice cabin hexagonal or octogonal lay-outs with air-con and comfort room, good beds and linens, all clean and well-presented, and restaurant that boasts the biggest burger in the country, which may be true, but unfortunately didn't taste all that good.

No regrets.
We had a long day touring the island. We opted to had dinner here. :)
Food Serving is HUGE, like their menu board. We did not know that one dish is good for sharing,
that is why we ended up ordering three dishes.
We paid 200php per dish.
You can choose whether to have it with rice, garlic rice, mashed potato and fries with your food.
It is located walking distance from the Capilay Spring Park.

We only got to try the breakfast (around $4-5 per order of Filipino or Western). Pork tapa set includes eggs, rice, a fruit and coffee (Nescafe instant black) or tea (Lipton black). Pancakes are yummy. Fruit plate includes 1 mango, a slice of papaya and some pineapple cuts. Al fresco dining, with view of the beach. Thumbs up!

Waved by the sea, in a soft and relaxing atmosphere, allow yourself to be carried away by the magic of this place. Mac-Mac, your host, will share with you his passion for gastronomy and prepare a fresh combination of savors from of southern France and exotic tropics... In U.Story Guesthouse, the “apero” (aperitif) is a special time: you can enjoy the sublime sunsets with feet in the sand or on our bamboo loungers, our cocktails and homemade tapas. Laurence, of French origin, will gladly present you her wine collection. Regularly, our Filipino musicians will brighten up your dinner with traditional rhythms.
We went here together with a friend of mine who is now a local of Siquijor. We went there to eat and have Margarita. Qe went there around 8 pm and I was in awe to see the beautiful place. It is definitely one of the best restos Ive ever been. Food is great and the margarita was good very good! Exactly what I need and how I wanted it to be! I will be back and I will surely enjoy It again there.

The Baha Bar concept is to take traditional and well liked Filipino dishes and alter and 'spice' them up them up to suit a more adventurous and curious palate. In addition to Filipino food we have a wide selection of European staples, vegetarian dishes and have a healthy kids menu too. Our ingredients are fresh and local. We have our own organic farm where most of the vegetables are grown and we raise our own native chickens (no steroids etc). All fish is caught in the sea surrounding Siquijor. Baha Bar also has outdoor Seating in a lush garden and a sunset deck by the ocean to enjoy a drink or two at dusk as the sun goes down. San Juan is famous for its sunsets. You will not find too many of the latest 'hits' being played, the music is more Brazilian Lounge /funk with a dose of House and other chill music
Nice restaurant with upper and lower level in the garden. Best day for visit is day with barbecue buffet with lechon ( pig) and some grilled fishs and desetrs. Food from menu is not bad but nothing special.. Great si the singers which make beautiful...MoreThanks for your review, sorry to hear the food was ‘nothing special’...it would have been helpful to have known what you ate in order to improve on it. There are not many pizza in Siquijor, there are not many restaurant worth the title neither. That what make this place outstanding. The chef is great and friendly, his pizza are delicious. He's preparing and awesome chocolate fondant.
The prices are in a good range for pizzas in Philippines, starting at 200 up to 300+. Drinks are good and affordable too.
it is not far from the peripherical road, on the way to cliffside resort.
Definitely a place to hit during your visit in Siquijor.

located in the center of Larena, we propose home made pizzas , french and medditeraneen dishes.
This place is recommend in Laurena as it's run by a nice french guy. The reason we came was to use wifi but unfortunately they said their WiFi isn't that great! Welk that's the problem on the whole island so nothing to do about that.
I ordered vegetarian pizza, it was delicious. It's a very nice place to have coffe or pizza and to chill and have fun

Marco Polo is serving Authentic Italian cuisine. Located at Maite, San Juan Sequijor. Relaxing music and tasteful food awaits you. We are also serving Espresso and grappa for those who are craving for italian tiramisú, we have it!!
We really enjoyed dinner here. The waitresses provided really excellent service and were really nice. The setting is also nice, with tables inside or outside, but all feeling open air and pleasant.
The prices are surprisingly good - 145 peso for a margarita pizza with thin crust. My boyfriend is Italian and quite picky with his Italian food but he enjoyed it here.
The menu has a large choice, including vegetarian options. I can’t fault it here and just wish we had tried it sooner!

Reading reviews before I had to check Dagsa out. You will find it halfway Siquijor town proper and San Juan town proper on the main road. Live music at night.
The menu is local/international style including all (chicken, pork, beef, seafood, vegetarian dishes). Nice dishes. I especially liked my first ever try of eating Sea Urchin here, it is delicious!
Portion of food here are large, tasty as well. Drinks are good too and very affordable price level.
>> CR/toilet: can be more clean, maybe recommendable to have a soap dispenser on the wall and some paper towels.
