Authentic German Cuisine,24 years in business, same location, same owner, outdoor dining "beergarden style",also indoor,70seats in total.Friday nights "german grill"with german sausage specialties, extra bar open outside
Outstanding service, fabulous food and reasonable prices. This place has been there forever and it deserves to be. Huge portions, excellent schnitzel, red cabbage to die for and the apple strudel and ice cream is heavenly. Please please don't miss this great restaurant. You won't be sorry. We will go back again and again.

This is a great place to go when you are craving veggies and tired of all the great heavy gourmet food in SXM. PIta stuffed with chicken and loads of veggies in their special balsamic sauce is heaven. Everything is fresh and homemade. They also, have daily specials

For the last 17 years, owner Stephane has welcomed you to the palm groves of the lagoon at Nettle Bay where, watching the sunset over the lagoon, you can enjoy the gastronomic, gourmet cuisine in an idyllic setting. Chef Malory Leroux offers daily specials sourced from the market's daily offerings, without forgetting the signature dishes: foie gras in truffle oil, lobster raviolis, Wild French sera bass. Mathieu Maini, the pastry chef, is constantly searching for new creations, such as the already famous strawberry macaroon. La Cigale brings a touch of delicacy which rounds off your meal with finesse. The wine menu, without doubt one of the richest on the island, will undoubtedly seduce you. If Reservations are encouraged, it is because this corner of paradise, very busy during the season, is the ideal spot for a romantic dinner. (gift certificate - honey moon - weddings - Private Diner)
This little gem sits right on the beach.. it looks like it's behind an apartment building but don't let it fool you! Our waiter was very friendly and a delight! Everything I ordered was fresh and just listening to the water put me at peace.. the macaroon I had for dessert replicated Paris! If you have the chance to come to Saint Maartin make it a priority to eat here!

My party of 4 all enjoyed our meals and left with full stomachs and happy hearts! Highly recommend the Lamb Shank and you can't go wrong topping it off with their homemade Chocolate Mousse! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! I'll likely go back again before I leave!

After Reading the reviews for the IZI, I felt we had to visit. Considering the storm damage around the island, this restaurant was back and running full speed
The table was clean and the silverware and glasses were clean.
I ordered the Caprese salad and for the main course I had the pasta Cabonara.
The salad was good but missing something. My Pasta dish was tasteless with very little bacon (pork) . The cheese they used was of poor quality with little bite and with the small amount of bacon, it lacked the Cabonara taste bud kick.
All in all this place is over rated and I would not come back again.
I have not bones to pick. The staff was good. The establishment was clean but the food....... not great

It's in the Cole Bay area, facing Simpson Bay Lagoon, in Cole Bay, Sint Maarten. La Sucrière on the french side is not related to us. It is a different company with a different management.
the bakery is amazing and pays tribute to any French bakery. wonderful bread but it doesn't keep very well. so get it fresh daily! espresso is okay but staff clean and service the machine more regularly for it gives a tangy bitter taste to the coffee

They have many exotic ice creams that are served in cups or cones. They make their own ice cream, so it is especially decadent. There is a working carousel for the kids to ride, and loads of old pictures of celebs with ice cream. There are amazing mosaics on the walls of ice cream motifs. Go for the ice cream-be delighted by the venue!

My boyfriend and I went to dinner here by accident when the restaurant across the street (the greenhouse) was closed. That being said, we could not have been happier with our dinner! The owner was incredibly sweet and helpful, and the food was the best meal we had all week! We will be definitely be going back!

After Huricane Irma (Sep 6 2017) the Terrace was destroyed, but a new and stronger place is in the make and almost ready. What a great place, real mediteranian food and very hospitable host. Wishing them all the best with the newly build Terrace and keep up the good work, and the great menu.

Jean-Baptiste and his wife Paula provided an unparalleled customer experience. Everything on the menu is 100% homemade and delivered with great care. I definitely recommend trying Le Sous Marin for lunch or dinner.
