We visited for dinner during our stay on Shoal Bay East and we were not disappointed. It happened to be a windy evening and they made every accommodation to keep the wind down. The service was excellent and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. We were not disappointed. It's a very nice location on the far east end of Shoal Bay. It can be reached by walking along the beach (easily since hurricane Irma) or driving. The condos/property also looks like a very nice place to stay. We were also fortunate to have a chance to chat with the owner and learn more about the island. A nice evening and meal.

Visited when staying with friends and we called in here 3 months after the hurricane. There was still an atmosphere of making a big effort to keep going and produce bread for the community, everyone in Anguilla was staying strong and pitching in bravely.
They sell a great range of jonny cakes, patties and other treats.
A visit here is a must to try local foods. Most loved the coconut cakes.

Absolutely mind blowing BBQ food. We sat at the wooden table and ate and ate and ate. Kept getting up for more. We actually took some away back to our hotel and I would say it tasted even better because it had time to sit in its own juices. Get there before the school kids come out as the Q was 4 deep! Please note that it is not only Pork that is served there is chicken as well. Ken's BBQ.

We dined at Veya the other night, despite previous visits being disappointing. This trip's visit was incredible and met my expectations. I had the surf and turf, my wife the butter poached lobster, and our friends the duck and snapper. All our meals were delicious. My steak melted in my mouth and the lobster was cooked to perfection. My wife broke down and had the chocolate cake for dessert, which she loved. Even the service was better and much friendlier. I have always found it to be a little too snooty but not this time.
The one negative I have to say and I am only hoping the manager reads it and rethinks ... We ordered a few extra things I wouldn't normally because I expected to get a discount with our Anguilla card. Other places we have gone and used the card take the 10% off the price on our bill and then we split the cost by putting in two credit cards 50-50. Has not been an issue. I actually mentioned this to our waiter and he said no problem. When the bill came I was informed to use the Anguilla card, I would have to show photo id (a little over the top since my face is on the card) and we couldn't use two credit cards to split the cost. I didn't understand why and still don't when I discussed it at another restaurant. They like me, were shaking our heads.
But despite that one flaw we had an excellent dinner and I have changed my opinion of this place.

We ate here 2x. The first day we visited Shoals bay and one other day for lunch. They do close around 4:30-5:00 so i don't think they serve dinner. They have a large selection for lunch and everything we ordered-mahi mahi Sandwich, chicken fingers, and its sides are good. Parking was free but somehow I thought that if we ate there the beach chairs were free too but I guess I read the reviews wrong. They do charge $10/ for 2 beach chairs with umbrella. The restaurant lies on Shoal bay so it is a perfect spot so you won't regret it. Not as busy as I thought since it was slow season but yes, I would recommend any visitors to try this place.

last time here we had some of the best mussels we have ever had. this time they were fine but not outstanding. also, rum punch was fine, but not great. pizza was OK. wings and spring rolls also good, but again, not great.
service was good and the spot on the beach with the view is fantastic. would return.

We had the nachos, which were huge and very tasty. Can watch US sports on the TVs too, which was a bonus!

What an excellent meal. We stopped in for dinner and we were pleased with the food. We both had the special of the day which was pan seared snapper with a lemongrass sauce on it. Also served with it were mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The fish was moist and the sauce was light and flavorful. The potatoes and other vegetables were hot and very good. They serve Johnny cakes before the meal and they are a local item that is very good. The service was good and we will be back.

We rented sun beds in front of the restaurant and ended up also having lunch here. The BBQ chicken was delicious alongside the rice and peas and slaw. They also have some great cocktails. I recommend the rum punch.

Sandbar is located on the beach in Sandy Ground, one of the most charming fishing villages in the Caribbean and the "sea and sand" theme of the bar envelopes you as you enter. Lots of natural light, unobstructed views of Road Bay with its myriad boats at anchor - coupled with an abundance of trade breezes make this a cool and comfortable spot to enjoy drinks, & dinner. Dining and Seating is available inside and also outside on a Terrace perfect for watching the day & sun go down. Serving tasty tapas & cool cocktails Monday to Saturday.
We love everything about Sandbar. The owners and staff are always so gracious and welcoming. But the food is what keeps us coming back. That and a very reasonable priced wine list which is much appreciated! Everything is good, which is what I love about this place. Order anything and you will love it.
