This was a fun place to visit as the decor was old road signs, old roadside garage things. The food was fine. My husband had a steak which was good and the sweet potato puffs were great. I had the Mahi Mahi special which came a lot colder than the potatoes that came with it. They had a lot of specials for the night. The atmosphere was great, a quiet place for easy conversation.

Well, at least they delivered to the motel. We ordered a small prairie vegetable and I asked for fresh tomatoes on top after it was cooked. They forgot. I needed at least $10 for delivery so we ordered some wings. They were ok, but a little spicy for me. The pizza was ho hum but again there wasn't much to choose from in town!

This is a great place to meet friends for a drink or to enjoy a good meal as a family or couple. Nice menu selection and the food is very good. Alot of sandwich choices and tasty entrees. But why listen to me? Go check it our for yourself - you won't be disappointed!!!

I've eaten here many, many times. (that should tell you something) I have a long history with authentic Mexican and this is it. Everyone's mom makes things different. And "mom" in this place seems to vary but it's always good. BUT, sometimes it's outstanding!!! Some of the best Carne' Asada I've ever had came from here. (And I lived in So. Cal for eight years) The prices are middle of the road but the portions are generous. They have their own twist on some standards. If you're in the area, it's well worth the stop!

We were on our way home and discovered this amazing coffeehouse/bakery. They serve amazing food, homemade soups and specials that change daily. Delightful cheesecake and cupcakes, fresh homemade and truly scrumptious!!!

First time trying Taco Johns and I must say I am not disappointed!
I had the burrito with the little hash brown rounds and they were both fresh and the hash brown rounds were crispy!!! This location was nice and CLEAN even the bathrooms were clean. I will for sure stop here again!

You can eat a meal here but I go for the ice cream - specifically the Cyclones (their version of the Blizzard). You can choose from their large menu or make up your own. It is a fraction of the price you'll pay at Dairy Queen and there are TONS of toppings in the Cyclones. Yum!

I'm a fan of McD's iced coffee and their southwest wraps so I usually stop a few times when I'm on a road trip. This was a "breakfast" stop this time, on my way to Orange City, IA and again on my way home. Everything was perfect, which we've all come to expect from McDonald's, but we all know that sometimes we get disappointed. No disappointment here. Friendly folks and picture-perfect food and iced coffee.

We try to visit a Hardee's when we are away from our home in Michigan because we don't have a Hardee's near our home. We both ordered a Swiss mushroom burger, which was too much meat for us to eat since we are not big meat eaters. I also ordered a malt, which was quite good -- probably not high in nutritional value. The service was typical Hardee's because we ordered and then waited for our meal at a booth; our food was brought to us in a pleasant way.
