We stopped here on our way to see the Shasta dam. A lady at the grocery store had recommended this restaurant. We both had great breakfasts with large portions. Great hometown friendly service as well. I would highly recommend this place!!!!

This is a great little coffee house. The staff is very friendly and it's big enough so that you're not sitting right on top of the next table, yet small enough to feel cozy. The big windows let in very nice light, free wi-fi, industrial elements in decor make this a great place to hang out in a small town and watch the world go by! Plus they have cool T-shirts for sale cheap!

We are a locally owned cafe that serves tasty breakfasts (a variety of omelets, biscuits & gravy, eggs Benedict, oat meal, etc.) Wonderful fresh salads, and unique, tasty sandwiches. Coffee, tea and other drinks is a specialty. In addition, our bakery has won "Best of the Northstate" 5 years running. We hope you will stop by and give us a try! Now serving wine, and a great selection of beer!
We were looking for an upgrade from the national fast food chains to refresh and have a quick snack while traveling. This is it.
Based on the patron mix for lunch this is a very popular place for all types. Some, like us dined in, while many ordered to go. It is co-located with a fuel stop and small grocery store just off the freeway. It was busy even at 1 pm.
The Reuben was excellent, it tasted like the real deal. [ I like a Reuben, but usually avoid them because of the cheap deli style ingredients. ] The fries was also great, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, not oily or salty.
The menu has a variety of dishes from many cuisines so you are most likely to find something to please you.
Sadly the chocolate chip cookie was dry with only 2 chocolate chips; the coffee lacked flavor and was expensive, $2.25, for the quality.
The ambiance is casual and noisy due to the hard surfaces interior and the high volume on the music. As we left we realized that they have outside seating; oh well, next time

At In-N-Out Burger, quality is everything. Stop by to enjoy our menu of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries and shakes. In-N-Out makes fast food the old fashioned way.
Best burger and fries! everything is fresh when you roll up in the drive-thru you can often watch them using the french fry pounder on fresh potatoes. We don't have them in Montana which is sad because I miss their cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes! when we visit family in California we always eat there as much as possible before we leave. They are always clean facilities and great employees. In-N-Out really outdoes itself and makes happy customers. I have had friends who worked there and they say its great place to work.

Returning to CA from OR and came across this place while searching online for a good breakfast/lunch spot off I5 near Redding, CA. Due to numerous excellent reviews we had seen we located Joe's Giant Orange Café in Shasta City.
Easy on/off I5, and not impressive from the outside...but, don't be deceived as this appears to be a very popular local gem.
Upon entering we were promptly seated. Interior was immaculate and neat, with a Mexican color motif. The menu is large and varied containing both American and Mexican breakfast/lunch/dinner items with reasonable prices.
We ordered a late breakfast and all was prepared exactly as we would expect, were very tasty, and large portions. Coffee excellent, hot, and plentiful.
There was a steady stream of customers coming and going while we were here so we knew it was a local favorite. Recommend this place.

Good coffee, reasonable price. Mom & pop place, locally owned and operated. Has survived competition in the past from Starbucks, and now other coffee houses in Shasta Lake, which speaks volumes for their coffee and service.

Attentive and happy servers and a breakfast of grand proportions. Us Brits are just not used to the American sized servings! My omelette was filled to overflowing plus large hash browns AND options of pancake or toast.... so much! But, I ate it all - too good to waste!

I love Latinos! Its a cute, cozy little restaurant just off I5. If you're traveling, skip the fast food, avoid the weird tangles of Redding traffic and stop by Latinos! The decor is cheerful and fun, the staff is generally (but not always) very attentive. I love pretty much everything I've ordered here, but my favorite is the mixed fajita platter.

We have gone several times for tacos. 4 for $10. Watch out for the salsa, is HOT. Beer selection is outstanding. Burger is also good.
