After an invigorating walk, we spotted Baita Ciampac just off the footpath and stopped for a drink. My wife had a lumumba, (hot chocolate with rum), and I had their house-special punch. A delicious blend of orange, cinnamon and other spices. Probably the best hot drink I've had on a mountain - it was that good. As it was the last day of our holiday, I couldn't return to sample the rest of their menu but if it the food is up to the standard of the drinks, it should be very good indeed.

We have spent a beautiful day here, after taking the cabke way from Selva, we have walked all the way down for just 30 mins ( the hard part is the way up, very steep) . When we have reached the location we just took the seats and relaxed on the beautiful meadow. The kids fished their own fish fir lunch and played with the zip line and the swing. Then lunch in the cosy restaurant, excellent food. Both the main course and the desserts with amazing selected ingredients . The fish was superlative. We'll go back for sure in the future :))). This walk it's not suitable for people with past injuries or kids on the stroller.

The food was tasty, I went there with my ski lesson group, the view is nice, the restaurant was very full. The major problem is that the waters are so busy with all the tables that they just don't really listen or give enough attention, and they don't speak English. As a group we each wanted to pay separately by card, but the water said either we use 1 card for the entire bill or we pay cash, this isn't very user friendly or attentive... so they have a few miles to go still with service...

This is by FAR our fav place for pizza when skiing in Selva! The staff are friendly and attentive, it is always packed (so best to book in the evenings) and the food, fresh and delicious!! Cannot rate this place highly enough...I annoy all my friends and family whenever we go as i'd eat here every lunchtime and dinner! Also, my husband's fav place for tiramisu!

We liked the place. Very good Italian food. Service is very good and fast. Food is delicious. Nice atmosphere. We took brosketas for start which were fabulous. And than salad and ravioly. All was great.
The place is always full so you have to make a reservation in advance.

Rifugio Panorama is situated in Selva di Val Gardena near the Passo Gardena at an altitude of 2130 meters. Open in summer and in winter. From the end of June to September and from December to Eastern.
Panorama is on the Sella Ronda route is you take the green route (anti-clockwise). It is a fairly large restaurant which has fabulous views, as the name suggests. They also have the best apfelstrudel you ever tasted, and excellent coffee. Many reasons to stop at Panorama! the service is quick, kind an attentive. All that comes at a reasonable price!

Eating here was a case of third time lucky. We tried to eat here last year but it was closed (and still is) on Tuesdays. On our second visit, we arrived at 1100, to discover it opens at 1200, (and still does). We finally made it indoors on the third visit.
We only stopped for coffee and cake but boy…what coffee and cake! My wife had a Selva twist on a French favourite; tarte Tatin. Instead of apples, it was made with pears and was equally as good as the best traditional versions we have tasted in France. She didn’t go totally “apple-less” as she had a cup of hot apple drink to accompany, which was also, delicious. I went for the yoghurt torte, which was a whipped, light, yoghurt filling, dotted with fresh raspberries, blueberries and other soft fruits; set atop a light, biscuit-like, base. Fantastic. I splashed out and had an Irish coffee, which was also first class. All their pastries are home-made.
It’s not the cheapest of places but this is mitigated by the quality. It’s also not the biggest of establishments. Having a small room roped off, (for what I presume was a ski class), could have been “third time unlucky” for us. However, if you’re over that side of the village and fancy some high quality patisserie, then this is your place.

A lovely restaurant on the road to Val Gardena in the hotel of the same name. The food and service were top notch as we relaxed during lunch. The menu was very creative with the risotto with cereal standing out. Save room for the Apple strudel.

Visited Pramulin several times during our ski vacation. The restaurant is reachable on foot from the town as well as being very convenient for the ski slopes. Our lunches were good, the staff were charming and very efficient and prices a little less than other restaurants on the ski slopes.
