We welcome you to our family owned and operated Indian Restaurant. At Saffron, we source the best ingredients and grind our own spices in house, which give our food a fresh and unique taste. Our hard work and our pure dedication shows in our great tasting food and positive service. At Saffron, we pride ourselves as a true family friendly restaurant. We open our hearts and doors for you and your family.
The four of us had dinner at the Saffron the other night. We were pretty close to closing time, but that not a problem. We had the papadums, pakora, butter chicken, lamb coconut with garlic naan. We loved every dish, although the naan could have had lots more garlic. The service was friendly and efficient.

The blue heron in Sechelt is one of those places that you have to see and experience to believe
The food ranks with the best I have ever experienced anywhere in the world
The view from the deck makes you forget about how spectacular the meal you are having
The staff made myself and my guest feel totally at home
How the staff reacted to one of the guests --after finishing their meal indicating that the meal had taken too long and that they didn't want to pay was so interesting ---the staff handled this with outstanding tact and Grace
Truly a five-star restaurant with a five star view

One of the only places that was still open when we wanted food at 9pm. We got there just before closing so im not sure if that effected the quality of their food. I got their chicken solavki. Other than being a little cold it was good, not worth the price, but desperate times call for desperate measures... The staff were friendly and willing to take our order despite almost closing so that was very nice!

We are an Italian restaurant with a western flare. Our saloon, it's the perfect place to hang out and grab a drink. Come visit us today and experience our great atmosphere!
The food was great and came to the table in a timely fashion. The waitress was friendly. Good atmosphere. The drinks were slow in coming and we had to ask for drinks as we were never offered after our original order. Could of been more fish in the special seafood dish.

Why put bacon in seafood chowder?....Bacon is NOT seafood! I always ask before ordering seafood or clam chowder, "is there any bacon in it?".... because it does happen in other places (like the BC Ferries). The waitresses reply, "No bacon, only seafood." It came served as thick (corn starch) as porridge, it didn't taste too bad though.......until I got to the bottom of the bowl, and there, lo and behold, was a piece of bacon! The waitress showed surprise and then checked with the chef, and found out that they DO include bacon in the seafood chowder. Too late now, I had eaten almost all of it. She didn't hesitate to remove the cost from the bill. I was left feeling guilty having eaten it.
Apart from this unpleasant experience, there are a couple of other vegetarian options available that are okay. The restaurant itself has undergone some improvements over the past year.

The lady was so cheerful. She seemed to be a one woman show, greeting everyone, Seating, taking orders and money. Nice breakfast for $6.95 when our hotel wanted $13 for the same thing.

This place did not disappoint again after visiting here about 2 years ago.
Had a wide variety of food and all were very good to excellent.
Sashimi and sushi were very fresh. Edamame was hot and salty.
Service was a little bit of a hit and miss. The Filipino lady was very friendly and attentive. The other was not so much as she looked tired and did not really want to serve anyone.
