Tony's menu features a large variety of southern staples prepared the way I remember my grandma preparing them.
Dishes are available to accommodate good nutrition as well as good taste. The folks visiting the restaurant are often willing to start up a conversation making for a friendly environment.

Small Dairy Queen with limited parking & drive thru. We went inside. Some ordered blizzards which were great. 2 others ordered burgers & steak fingers & fries. Fries were wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the meal!

Hinze's BBQ & Catering specializes in pecan smoked meats, homemade desserts, and a delicious array of home style bread.
We had been driving and wanted to stop just before Houston so stopped here. Wow! what a great surprise.
Service was at the counter, but our meals came out very quickly. A great meal, some delicious bbq and my wife had some chicken. Not a fancy place, but a great meal all for a very reasonable price.

We travel the I-10 corridor often to and from Houston to our recreational house on Canyon Lake. We often find ourselves near here at dinnertime. Stopped more than once. Ok. Most of the structure is comprised of a freeway all-purpose shop, clean bathrooms for travelers, and an interesting seafood store. At one end us s cross between a fast food joint and a restaurant. Counter order, seat yourself, etc makes it mostly fast food. But often cooked to order. The fried chicken is delicious, pieces are large, and you get a side dish AND a large drink. That explains a slightly high price. Two pieces are all I can eat. They are not cooking "mini" chickens.
Decor not too bad. Rustic. Big walk hangings. Tables usually cleaned regularly. All in all: I wouldn't drive there just to eat there. But if on the road anyhow, a decent place to stop for bathroom break and comfort food.

So darn good! The sliced beef sandwich was just right. Brisket plate came with lots of Brisket that was moist and falling apart. Our Daughter who doesn't eat much meat was devouring her food. Everyone was very friendly. We will be back next visit to Houston. What a great find! The

Simple restaurant in Sealy, Texas. The food was good and excellent portions. The waitresses were very cold and need to perk up a bit. I had the Sesame Shrimp which was very good.

This restaurant does not look like anything special from the outside... It's a "hole in the wall" kind of place. But those are usually the best! ;)
The salsa is soooooo good! I always get the chef salad with chicken. It's delicious. Very fresh and the flavor of the chicken is so good! The fajitas are awesome too!!!

Last night we ate here and found out really quickly that the Mexican food was not of authentic quality or style. There was a very strong language barrier and understanding our orders. The enchiladas were dried out and very little taste. The grilled chicken breast with onions were burned. The chili Renio had so much cheese and chili pepper on top and horrible taste. The restaurant was not clean. Then to top it off having to drive 320 miles with an upset stomach. Joy..

Hard to review fast food places, because it changes so much from week to week depending on the staff. But, I've stopped in here several times, doing the drive-though while passing through, and this time went inside for lunch. Especially because the next week I stopped in at a different JITB that was a dump, it made me realize the Sealy location was clean and the service and food were good. If you're on the way through Sealy on I-10, you have to go about a block south on Highway 36 to find them.
