I love, love this place! The pastries are always terrific. Sandwiches, pizza etc. exceptional. I really come here for the breads though. The best ever breads...you have to take a few loaves home. In the nice weather you can sit outside and enjoy looking out St. Rocco’s way. It almost feels like you are in Italy! Love this place!

Claudios of Glen Cove was chosen from trip advisor recommendations and was not disappointed, from being greeted by Claudio himself, seated in a warm friendly dining room and getting fabulous recommendations from his son Fabrezio, the Kurobuta pork chop was absolutely the best I've ever had. I highly recommend Claudios if you ever find yourself in Glen Cove

A very cosy charming interior where you feel nice and warm after a sea front walk
The music is smooth classic american and pleasant
The radiant pig draft beer has an interesting bitterness and freshness
The mussels are cooked in a lightly creamy sauce, spicy italian sausages and pepper. A couple where not good but i could easily single them out and the rest was good
The oysters are fresh with a nice shallot vinegar sauce
The snapper is pan fried, fresh and crispy on a bed of brussel sprouts.
The drench fries are exceptionally good
Overall a very good adress in the area

Unless we're looking for cheap food, stop here for low priced food with fresh flavors at all times. My favorite usually is a burrito. All ingredients are fresh, and your order is cooked entirely while you wait. I've never been disappointed here.

I visited this establishment because a radio host was bragging about it. By coincidence, I happened to be in the area two days later and gave it a try. Outstanding pizza! Being in the New York metro market all my life I know good pizza and this was one of the best I've ever had. It's a thin style crust that's somewhere between a regular slice and a very thin slice. Perfect, just perfect.
Service was slow or I would have given 5 stars. Bring cash though, they don't take credit cards nor do they serve single slices, pies only.

We give people great food, selections, drinks and service in a casual atmosphere at a reasonable price
Met friends not seen in years at this small, intimate, nicely done restaurant. Most had linguine with clams, garlic white wine sauce. Very good! Others ordered off small plate list, good reports. Portions generous. Wine and drinks fine. Upscale and priced accordingly.

DiMaggio's Trattoria serves Old World traditional dishes in a friendly, casual, atmosphere. We are committed to preparing food with only the finest and freshest ingredients. Open 7 days a week lunch and dinner
Although it is one of those places long revered by locals, if you find yourself in the Port Washington, NY area around lunch or dinner time, you should give this restaurant a try.
Their pasta dishes are authentic and the tastes ring true. I am a big fan of the Tortellini en Brodo, the Lasagne della Nonna and the Caesar Salad. In fact, I am not above ordering the salad to bring home when I am expecting luncheon guests; I put it in my own salad bowl to serve and it is so much better than anything I could concoct myself. But I digress; my husband loves the Chicken Scarpariello (a lot), and any dish that includes Italian sausage. Descriptions aside, many of the dishes offered harken back to memories of Grandma and Sunday dinners with the family which, for me, is a good thing.
At the risk of never getting a seat without a long wait, I am happy to recommend this restaurant. We have been going there for a long time and are never disappointed with the food or the service.
Just a couple of notes: reservations cannot be made unless your group is 6 or more and parking can be tricky. There is a lot just a few steps away, but availability for that is varied, so check with the restaurant for time and availability.

We sat at the bar for dinner. I was very impressed with the bartenders knowledge of wine. The food was delicious! I had the appetizer size risotto, my husband had a burger. Excellent!
