This is a nicely located osteria in an old cornerhouse. The food is excellent. Service friendly and good English speaking.
Interior is historical. Big Terrace in sun or shade, depending with corner outside.
We had different dishes. The mixed anti pasti seafood was great as was the fresh tuna.
Highly recommended!

Had lunch there with my wife and one of my daughters: confirmed a very nice gastronomic experience. The risotto was an alliance of tradition and creativity, the mezzelune with freshly cut truffle were a poem and the service was friendly and welcoming.
Prices are appropriate and the space under the arches allowing for a fresh breeze is a soothing pause in a hot August.

The resturant is close to teh city center but not inside the Sarzana historical center.
There is a free car park just 2 minutes away.
I ate in the resturant for 3 dinners in a row and any dinner was excellent.
The price is reasonable, the service is excellent. It seems to be at home.

Another very good dinner in my favourite sea-food restaurant in Sarzana historical centre.
I strongly suggest the raw fish as starter, going on with a specialties called "Smoked Octopus Carbonara", an amazing experience.
Reservation is suggested as well because the places are limited and always booked.
Very good for special and romantic dinners.

Locals and tourists alike will not be disappointed in the meal or service. Try the local wine: Vino Frizzante di Bosoni. It is very light, refreshing, slightly effervescent and went well with the seafood. Dinner for ten with wine, appetizers, mains, contorni and desserts came to $360! Amazing! We were with family, so we had no trouble with the menu, but the chef speaks English. The waiters try their best too! It gets busy on a Saturday, so you may need Reservations.

We ate here on our trip to the Italian riviera. Let me start off by saying thus is a local, not a tourist restaurant. The food was delicious. We ate ravioli with a ragu, pasta with clams (my wife said they were perfect) and garlic, and fried shrimp and clams. The shrimp and clams were lightly fried and the texture was good. My oldest tried prawns for the first time and loved them. The yellow and orange interior paint may sound garish but is lively and bright. The service was outstanding for an Italian restaurant. My kids enjoyed this place and that is high praise. I would definitely recommend eating here. Oh, and I have no idea why this shows as $$$; my family of 5 ate for less than €60 and that included wine and coperto (€1 per person).

One of the ancient pizza and farinata take away shops in town. The family is still running the place using genuine and classic recipes to prepare good and tipical food. You have to taste the "farinata", a sort of thin omelette (without eggs!) made only with olive oil and chickpea flour, my suggestion is to eat it within a focaccia. There's a large choice of pizza, focaccia and salty cakes. Everything is cooked in an old oven that burns wood (it's not electrical).

Went on a saturday. Slow service probably due to the fact that the lovely girl and boy working there are not enough. Variety of choice is limited and the atmosphere is far from being what you'd expect in a jap rest. Having said this I agree with someone else's comment regarding the rice quality being very good. It is a good place for nigiri lovers. I have eaten much better spending much less. I think the guys working there put a lot of effort into it but shouldfind out more on jap cuisine

A dining experience that promised so much and delivered so little. New to the area we were keen to see how good this restaurant was given its status as 'Ranked no.1 in Sarzana'' by Trip Advisor's reviewers. Our experience was one to forget. The first table we were shown to was so tightly jammed in between others that my wife was bumped every time a waiter scurried by from table to table. We requested a second table that had a seemingly irreparable wobble to it. The timing of the food Delivery was disjointed to the point where my wife was half way thorugh her starter before I reached mine. The roles we were reversed with Delivery of mains. The pork main was ridiculously large. Excessively and almost repulsively so. Service was haphazard and soulless. We didn't hang about for desserts nor coffee and hurried out.
