Our friends who live here took us to this restaurant. Wow, many different and unusual dishes all in the Catalan style. Wine prices are good and so our the different dishes. If you want an authentic meal from the area this is where you want to go. It is stuck in a corner across from the beach so you may have to look for it.

Went here after Reading reviews and it was amazing. It should be mentioned first if you want anything from the back of the menu then you have to pre-order this in advance.
We ordered half a chicken each and it was superb. So soft and moisture with the crispy skin you get from a rotisserie chicken. The fries were also really good. And our ham and cheese plate (which came with bread) was really tasty.
Service was brilliant.
Our meal with two glasses of wine and a coffee afterwards came to €23 which we were amazed at.
This place isn't easy to find but it is totally worth a visit. Took us 30 minutes to walk to from Santa Susanna.

We used the Black Bull most evenings and some lunch times during our stay in the resort.
Jordi was very welcoming and good fun.
Great idea putting bar games on the table and Jordi kept every one amused with various props and jokes.
Great cider and good range of other drinks.

Dear customers, we are pleased to announce that the next day March 24 , 20178 we will open the season again.
Dined here on the last night of our holiday to escape from our poor all inclusive dinners at the nearby Htop Planamar. Choice of outdoor or indoor Seating. Pleasant helpful staff. Food quality was very good, I had Fish Paella, very tasty. Excellent garlic bread too. Cocktails fine also. Would have returned here had it not been the last night of our holiday.

Not really tapas,it's " montaditos", same but not quite, service is fast, try to pace yourself when the waiters first come round with trays full of goodies ,or you may be too full to enjoy even better ones that appear later! Prices are good, food always fresh and the kids just love those mini hamburgers.Word of advice,if there is no Seating inside wait for a table to come free, the service at the outside tables cannot compare.

Great British family run Bar Restaurant, full menu including English and Scottish breakfast, snacks, main meals and sunday lunch. We are located up the side street between the tobacconist and The Summer Sun Hotel, look for the Union Jack flag. Join us for a Quacking time.
Went for a drink and a meal The drinks are not to expensive but the food is a bit pricy for what you get. There are tv screens but they do not have wifi they advised us that htop hotels do 30 minuits free. Its in the back street off the main road would go there again but only for a drink

We visited here several times during our holiday. Great coffee, lovely ice cream, nice food, good beer, and friendly staff. What more could you want. It also has some amazing old chocolate making machines on display in the restaurant. The only thing missing was some air conditioning for the very hot days. Recommended!!

Located in the heart of the Malgrat de Mar’s Promenade, La Maduixa (The Strawberry) is a dynamic and functional place, perfect for families or groups. It has a Terrace and a garden with Playgrounds for children and more than 100 different botanical species, a paradise for the senses.A place where you can enjoy the best pizza, meals and an amazing assortment of desserts and homemade ice cream.
The immediate area is not blessed with a multitude of good restaurants, and Restaurante La Maduixa has a pretty decent average TripAdvisor score. Is it worth a visit, then?
The restaurant certainly has several selling points, including a nice courtyard to the rear and an excellent children's play area. However, the service is rudimentary at best (cutlery and paper place settings were simply deposited on the table by staff). On our visit, there appeared to be little attempt to coordinate the main courses we had ordered (meaning one of us had their food long before the others). The quality of the food we ate varied from unexceptional to poor, but was at least relatively inexpensive.
It is difficult to avoid the feeling that the status of Restaurante La Maduixa is elevated by the paucity of the competition surrounding it.

La Pergola - Taqueria Mexicana. New restaurant with Terrace on the sea Promenade of Santa Susanna, next to Aqua Hotel Onabrava. Enjoy delicious Mexican cuisine dishes, appetizers, burritos, tacos, quesadillas, fajitas and a variety of desserts. The restaurant, La Pergola offers a wide selection of refreshments, snacks and cocktails.
If you enjoy poor service and less than average mexican food then this is your restaurant.
Initially when we sat down we were only asked for our drinks order and the staff were surprised when we asked for the dinner menu. At 8:30pm people want dinner as well as drinks. We ordered a starter to share and a main each. People who came in after us were served and still no starter. My husband Saif they've forgotten our order and he was probably right as the chef was showing the rest of the staff pictures on his phone. Then after trying to catch the attention of the waiters one came over and said our nachos were burning in the oven and 5 more minutes as they were cooking. LIE. When the nachos arrived the metal tray was hot but everything else including the chilli beef was cold. As soon as our starter was finished our main course arrived. Literally one took the plates as another delivered our main course. We were too full to enjoy it. Plus we had waited 40 minutes for our starter so we had no drinks left.
There were no complimentary drinks offered or even an apology or a discount on the bill. The service was awful unless you are a regular who stops by each night for drinks - then you get the gold star treatment. We saw others leaving due to the poor service by the waiters. We really felt like all of the focus was on drinks orders and food was secondary. If you want average cold Mexican food with poor service then this is the place to go.
