We were referred to this restaurant from a friend since we were passing through to the hotel on our family vacation to Holiday World & Splashing Safari.
The building resembles a remodeled church. A little leary about the place but took a chance and went in.
Cozy, quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff, so far so good.
The menu comes and the prices are really great. The food - awesome.
It is a little hard to cook someone else's food since they do not know your taste.
For a family of four, the total bill was around 30. Tipps not included but since the place was very nice and the staff are excellent, we tipped very good.
As once quoted:
"Don't let the unremarkable setting, or the buffet style (on weekends) fool you"
This is true!
Since there is not a McDonald or a Burger King around for the competition, this is the perfect for family time around the table and will be added to my GPS as one of my favs and will be visited again for another family vacation to come.
Cheers!

Small town bar with good food. Beer and wine only. No hard liquor. We have had their pizza which is amazing. Stromboli's are good, as is burgers and tender loins! Appetizers are all good too!

I think this place is the most wonderful little hole in the wall restaurant. They offer a large selection, and I haven't had anything bad yet. Good food, good prices, good people, and they deliver. They are kind of easy to miss when driving, so keep an eye out as you go around that corner. Well worth going to.

We stopped in for lunch and left quite happy. The weather was lovely so we sat outside at a shady table. The food was fabulous and I recommend the grape salad. There's an upcharge for it but we enjoyed it.
This place is worth the drive. I'm bringing my friends next time!

Los Dos Charros features a traditional and diverse mexican cuisine. Family owned, family operated, and family friendly! Located 7 miles north of Santa clause. acclaimed by locals as having awesome MARGARITAS! The restaurant is small and casual. If you are looking for a quality Mexican restaurant to eat and you're in town, this is the place to stop. Hidden treasure of Dale IN.
We visited for dinner after the closing of the park and apparently so did everyone else due to the limited options in the area. The food was good, but they were not prepared for the large volume of business.

Terrible Service and NON RESPONSIVE MANAGER. My family wanted to have dinner here after a nice day at Holiday World. The A/C was blasting so high that we were freezing and other tables were going to their cars to get there jackets (IN JULY). We asked the staff about it and they shrugged us off, we asked for a Manager and we were told she was working the grill and would be out. SHE NEVER Came out to even talk to us. Very unprofessional, very unhappy.

Good location, has a friendly staff, and quick service. They have a family room. Also, know for good food. They have plate lunches, and dinner specials. One can order a LA care as well. The lunch specials are usually fried chicken with sides or meat loaf and sides. They also have breakfast items. Things like biscuits and gravey, Blts, Egg sanwiches. Everything from food to drinks are reasonably priced. At times they offer peanuts and beer nuts at times while having a couple drinks.

Good clean & fresh food just outside Holiday World. Nice to hit at the end of the day vs. buying fried/overpriced food in the park.

We arrived near "closing time." It was very crowded but it didn't take us long to get a table. Staff was very friendly. There were quite a few varieties of pizzas, salad bar, chicken drummies, chicken strips, rolls, corn and green beans.
They continued bringing out food and when I asked when they quit serving, the reply, "until everyone is done." That's awesome because you could tell they cared about their customers.
The prices are very reasonable. Good positive experience for our family.
