We had lunch here with family and, overall, it was fairly average. It’s nice to sit out on the patio and people watch, particularly in the busy summer season. However, the service is disinterested and the food just average. We never received some of the items we ordered and it was difficult to flag the waiter down. The food was just OK -- there are definitely much better spots for ceviche. We ordered ceviche to share and various main courses and everything was fairly average. The large number of flies out on the patio was a bit off-putting as well.

If you are in Cerro Azul you need to go to the Anchoveta and at least have a drink while sitting on top of the beached boat with a view of the beach and pier

I haven’t been to Cerro Azul in many years and was pleasantly surprised. Peru generally doesn’t have nice coastal towns, however, at only 140km from Lima, Cerro Azul has a reasonable offer as far as coastal town is concerned. Some small hotels/motels, clean beach, Surfing and of course, good restaurants with exellent seafood. Puerto Azul is located on the beach boulevard and probably offers one of the nicest restaurant experiences in Cerro Azul.
The portions are absolutely huge! I ordered a ceviche with deep-fried seafood and hardly dented my “personal platter” despite having a good appetite! So main courses are generally for 2-3 people, making them an excellent value. Particularly when considering how fresh and nicely prepared the food is.
Service is OK, the restaurant is clean, well maintained and has clean toilets and parking.

The best place in Canete to enjoy a good coffee and "hommade" desserts and delicious sandwiches!! cards are welcomed.
Located just half a block from Cañete's Main Square, Café Koinonía is the ideal stop for a lunch or coffee break. Whether your passing through on your way to Lunahuana or in town for other business, you'll want to check this quaint little restaurant out.
We happened upon it just over a month ago when business called us to Cañete for lunch and we asked ourselves, where can we eat that won't leave us doubting our decision afterward. We vaguely remembered an acquaintance that had started up a small cafe a few years back and so we set out looking for it. It appears that since Jaime and his wife opened the shop four years back, it has gained quite the reputation for it's coffee and homemade desserts in the most recent years. We found it easily enough and much to our surprised it had been recently remolded and had added a few options for lunch. We ordered the lomo saltado and a few sandwiches which where excellent. Afterwards we sampled two of their homemade desserts, delicious!
Besides offering high quality menu options, the hosts are friendly, the location is impeccably clean and it is very easy to find. We don't regret our decision to visit Café Koinonía and we are sure you won't as well!

Amazing Peruvian food & great service! The taste of each meal was just perfect & unique. I went there with my friends from New Zealand & Australia & we really love it! It's 100% recommendable, The owner speaks English & Spanish that makes things lot of easier for foreigners to visit the place. Thank you " Chacra Restaurant " for the great memories & hospitality service. We will be back!

It's an excellent restaurant, definitely the best in town. It is only one block from the main square. I had never tasted such a delicious dish as their tacu-tacu (a mixture of beans and rice) with meat. It is a large room with several tables. The service is friendly and they have a list of varied dishes and the prices are not expensive. They cook local, vegetarian, light food and seafood. All dishes are prepared at the moment. They also sell to go.
