The view is great and the restaurant is nice. A little run down but overall still in decent shape. The service was good although at points felt overwhelming.... This is a place that still grinds pepper and grates parm on your dish. The food was very good and apparently made not in mass but to order.

Yeah, I ate too much at lunch. Their portions are pretty big and I probably ate too much bread... but the bread was really good.
It's a good place. Sure, I've had lots of better Italian meals but I paid more.
I'll be doing some work in San Pablo so I suspect I'll go back a few more times.

We were in the mood for a "real" breakfast and came here. It's a classic diner--nothing fancy--with good basic food. Our server was great. My eggs-over-medium arrived almost raw--a lot of the white was still raw--and she was great about replacing them promptly.

Just a good place to eat. Waitress was nice, friendly and on top of things. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere with two TVs going. My breakfast was very tasty and the price was reasonable. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

I am happy that I have found a supplement to my normal pho location! So there are two decent spots in the Richmond area. Apparently they have recently renovated and expanded the restaurant. It looks like they have been in the whole location for quite some time... so not sure what exactly has changed. I will take other yelpers word on that one.
Customer service is a bit lacking. The kids running the front shop don't quite have the proper etiquette down that.. the customer standing in front of you holds priority over the phones ringing etc. Phones should be picked up and placed on hold. Or designate tasks and just have one person answering phones, one filling bags for orders, and one taking customers in the line.
Since phone is priority for them, I recommend calling ahead and submitting your order. So it is ready or close to ready by the time you get there.
The price is definitely right and portions are decent! I am looking forward to exploring their menu more and expanding my review on specific dishes!

Visited for dinner in a group.
Blue Bay was recommended to us and convenient at the time. We drove in at close to 9 PM on a Friday night--the place was fairly packed but one table was just leaving. The restaurant itself is also pretty tiny--seats maybe 9-10 groups at max.
As the name implies it is a primarily Thai restaurant, but the menu has some favorites from other SE countries and even some random Japanese fusion. Menu is quite long and comprehensive
Overall, found the food was a little oily and underspiced. We ordered the Viet rice paper rolls, chicken wings, a pomelo salad, Panang curry, a pineapple fried rice, and a phad thai. The fried rice and phad thai were both a tad bland, whilst the starters were a little better. More notably, the curry took longer to serve and did not include any white rice.
Beyond that, the service was very friendly and efficient. Pricing is also reasonable and portions are generous. A pretty good choice for convenient Southeast Asian if you live in the area.

Good food and good service from the cashier to the bussers. The red salsa is yummy but spicy... Green salsa is even more spicy. Good size tacos and free chips and salsa??? Need I say more? They have their own little parking lot which makes it a little easier to get to. A gem in Richmond. I recommend it.

I love Thai food but am a bit picky on it. We were trying to find a place to eat while in the area and wait out traffic a bit after leaving San Francisco. We happened to find Sala Thai and stopped in to check it out. Ordered appetizers and a meal which all came up quickly. Service was excellent and the food was delicious! Loved this little gem, would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

Second time I've eaten here in last year. I don't live in the area, but pass through frequently. Good food with quick service. I especially liked their Pico de Gallo. Very diverse patronage so it appears the residents in the area have taken to this place

Nice local seafood joint, spacious with tv all around (sports bar feel) good is delicious order Dungeness crab, shrimp, mussels with "the whole shabang" it was good. The garlic noodle is just how I like it. Also had chicken wings, calamari, sweet potato fries as appetizers. Good place to eat with friends and family
