Restaurante de corte Italiano con especialidad en cafes gourmet (Illy), Sandwich, ensaladas y pasteleria fina. Lo mas exclusivo de San Miguel. Italian style restaurant specializing in gourmet coffees (Illy), sandwiches, salads and Fine pastry. The most exclusive restaurant in San Miguel.
La Tartaleta represents a good initiative in the Bistro type eateries in El Salvador. They have a decent coffee menu, a good selection of sandwiches and pastries and breakfast is served at any hour. Prices are reasonable and the food is decent. Service is adequate. Thanks for visiting us, we hope to see you soon at La Tartaleta. Is there any aspect of our products or services we can work on to improve the quality of your experience in the future?

San Miguel is a very friendly city in El Salvador. Actually, visitors from everywhere enjoy several experiences. In the main avenue there is a nice restaurant where you can find one of the best places to eat: El Asador. An excellent menu for special guests.

Well perhaps since it was my first night in El Salvador that made this restaurant so special- or maybe the great conversation. The food was great and lively atmosphere helped.
I had camarrones and steak.
If you have a large group ask for the private room!

From the outside the building has a good look and plenty of parking, inside looks like a mexican restaurant in Texas. The service was good but the plates were very tasty and affordable. I ordered the Burrito and it was more than its share for a dinner, my wife ordered fajitas and she was also surprised of the great taste.
To my taste this is the closest that I have come to the days back in Texas eating mexican food, when we go back to San Miguel this is a stop in our trip.
Take care of yourself......first.

This was our favorite local restaurant. Only a short walk from the Tropico Hotel.
Very reasonably priced, and everything we had was great nice variety of food selection as well. Menu is printed in Spanish and English with helps allot.
Restaurant is covered but all open air with ceiling fans.

We had springrolls, a hummus plata and 2 cookies between us. This was a treat as a little above our budget but we really like it. The baked goods are healthy and tasty and make a refreshing change (try the ginger one!). There's a DIY coffee service ($1) but we didn't use it as brewed our own in the backpacker kitchen. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the music room is a nice touch.
