Good dishes, great food, worth asking for "menu degustacion" because you will end up paying the same amount sharing a starter and dessert and ordering your own main course. Excellent home made bread. Wine list is reasonable with good prices. Very nice and helpful staff. It shows the all love what they do.

They are very nice people there, but the food, I am afraid, is not up to expectations. We wanted to try fish, as local delicacy, but either it was not cooked well, or the fish was not fresh (the reason to suspect this is that one fish tasted better than the other in the same dish). Not sure if there are better alternatives around, but I would go elsewhere.

Viejo Almacen is an excellent choice in central Colon, about a block from Plaza San Martin. Wide choice of entrees (try the lomo) well prepared at very fair prices. Excellent service in a country where that is often not the case. If you're looking for a good affordable parilla in Colon, this is a good place to try.

Un lugar amplio, con gran cantidad de mesas. Apto para contingentes. Show en vivo. Poca variedad de entradas. Buena Parrilla. Pastas regulares. Buenos postres. Buena atención.

Productos Regionales
Endless varieties of cheese, irresistible sausages, a selection of local wines and liqueurs that would capitulate a teetotaler, on the banks of the Uruguay River, in a colonial building which has its cause ... so, what more could you want from life? If snacking is your passion and the diet is not a problem, this is the place where you need to go :-)

We went on a Sunday night for dinner and there were just a few people so I think it is a good day to go! No waiting. Our waitress was very attentive but she forgot to mention the dishes were so abundant. The chivito for one is actually for two and the milanesa was quite big as well. The pacu was not a good choice, though. Wine list has reasonable prices and the music on the screens was very good and accompanied our dinner very well. We did not have dessert.
