Prices are fair compared to other tourist Restaurants all over the Philippines. Food directly at the beach (Nanas grill for example) is only half the price of this restaurant, but worse in our opinion.
To give you a rough overview over the price level:
-Pizza is around 160 and good for one
-Spaghetti Bolognese around 180
-American breakfast around 170 incl. instant coffee
-Mango shake is 75
-Big San miguel or red horse is 85
You will find enough different dishes on the menue for a week or so.
The food is okay. sometimes its to sweet (spaghetti Bolognese). Pizza is quite good. Pancakes only without chocolate sauce :( .
Service is a bit slow and seems to be not so kind. I guess thats manlt due to the langauge barrier, and because they aren't trained for the job.
View is great over Santiago bay.
We ate here for a week and liked it. Food is okay, staff is nice, view is great.

This resort is four years old with the brick floored restaurant having nipa thatching as its roof and a lovely ambience.
Tables are well spaced. Service was excellent with trainee Louie efficient.
The two pizzas we enjoyed on different nights were properly cooked, served hot and very tasty and filling. P300 was a typical price.
The banana shake used ripe bananas and hence was pleasing to the palate.
The outlook over the infinity pool to the sea was great, watching the sunset being a particular highlight.
The lack of mosquitos and flies added to the enjoyment.

The sunset bar is part of the Madgodlong Paradise Resort and is situated right on the water. Great spot to do some sunset watching. In the evening there is a light shining on the water so one can watch the various fish swimming close to the shore.
Haven't eaten here but the menu is the same as the Bamboo Cafe. Have enjoyed a quiet drink at this great location on the water.

Despite the attractive location with a small bay and a private beach, as well as cliffs on which the resort has erected Cabanas, the grilled squid and rice was far from the best on which I have dined in Philippines.
The resort is dated, unlike its Paradise competitor next door. It shows in the food.

Whilst we were having a look at Lake Danao we noticed this little restaurant perched on the hill. We decided to have a snack here and feed our driver who was quite hungry.
The driver had the breaded pork chop which he indicated was delicious. We just had the Calamares as a snack as we wanted to dine at Santiago Beach which was our the next stop on our itinerary. The Calamares was nice and tender and not rubbery as it can be if overcooked.
The staff at this restaurant were very lovely and friendly!

Their food can compete with other well-known filipino restaurants like the hukad, chika-an and etc. Prices are very affordable, one dish is good for 2 and cost around 80-100 pesos. With every other thing so good, you just cant have it all. Their service is kinda slow, we waited so long for our food. We didn't keep track on how long the wait was for everyone was starving already. But they managed to turn our grumpy stomachs upside down after we took our first bites. If you're looking for filipino food and time isn't an issue, then this is a place for you. :)
Note: my personal favorite is their sizzling squid and fish kinilaw :D
Garden Grill and Resto Bar is situated in Bano Beach Resort, its a Indoor/Outdoor dining experience either near the beach or near in garden. It is design for Family, Friends, for Community and corporate events.
