Brigitte Bardot frolicked on the beaches of St. Tropez in the '50s; now it's the playground of rap stars and international socialites. Most of the sandy hot spots lie southwest of town on the Baie de Pampelonne. But if you're not P. Diddy, take heart: you'll find a few family-friendly, public beaches where the sun, sand and waves are just as fabulous.

Awarded three Michelin stars, five Toques and a rating of 19.5/20 by Gault et Millau, La Vague d'Or invites guests on a magical journey between land and sea. Arnaud Donckele's creative mastery ensures an unparalleled experience which combines exceptional cuisine and wines from around the world selected by the head sommelier. Arnaud's cuisine is a rustic journey through the Mediterranean. On one hand, it gives guests a peek into Provence, flirting with the subtle flavours of sun-ripened vegetables and the aromatic richness of the region's fresh herbs. On the other, it transports diners across the sea to taste the nutty essence of exotic argan oil. Much like a flavour alchemist, Arnaud composes his dishes as naturalist paintings. Throughout the season, guests may dine in the elegant restaurant or on the umbrella-covered Terrace for a stunning meal with dazzling views of the sea.

2017 Season: Thursday, May 4th to Saturday, October 7th
This is our second dinner at La Vague d'Or, we have stayed at the hotel twice and on this occasion we again had dinner at the hotel. We selected the summer tasting menu, full of lots of locally sourced fresh produce. My highly was the tomato course, but all were exceptional, the seafood and meat dishes were great. We also had the paired wine with our meal, their selections were just right. Service five star, venue five star, meal five star....we will return, thank you Chef Arnaud and team (Manou offered excellent service, as always!).

Saint Tropez is a place for people watching. The trouble is, it's so full of people that it's difficult to find the perfect place to do this (unless you've got access to a million dollar boat). A little known secret is tucked away on the first floor of the Hotel Bar Sube - where a bar devoted to sailing memorabilia gives way to a small balcony overlooking the harbour front. From here, you can enjoy a well-earned cocktail and watch the world go by beneath you. It's an extraordinary spectacle, and a 'must-do' if you want to see the rich and the not so rich rub shoulders in the Sunshine.

The menu is very good, simple but good fresh products and no need to add salt or pepper. Advice to reserve a table directly next to the balcony. Friendly service and away from the buzzy st tropez. Recommended!

Notre restaurant est ouvert tous les jours de : 11h45 à 14h15 18h45 à 21h30
This is the final restaurant on the row of restaurants with outdoor Seating overlooking the valley. The views are amazing.
They do a set menu for 34€, which is very reasonable, especially considering the the portion sizes.
Drinks are quite pricey however, but table water is supplied.
For start I tried both the goats cheese salad and the salade d'Italie. Both were nice, but the goats cheese was much tastier.
For main my friends and I all enjoyed the steak - they were all very good cuts of meat, with very little, of any, gristle. Served with roasted veg and potatoes, it makes for a very nice main course. One steak which was ordered medium was slightly over-cooked, which was a little disappointing.
For dessert we had the profiteroles. These looked more impressive than they tasted as the pastry was very tough and crispy, which ruined these a little.
I would recommend this place, but be prepared to wait a while. I know the French aren't renowned for their quick and efficient service, but we waited around 45 minutes between starters and main courses.

Discover a place source of inspiration, In a very southern atmosphere, spend your time at your own rhythm, on a deckchair, among the timbered living rooms under the pergolas or why not at the corner of a chimney. Day and night , discover pretty tables of backgammon on a teak floor in a musical environment. Stay in the move and have a tour in the shop before having a drink in the “in and out” bar. Enjoy the shuttle boat for an easy way to reach the beach “Access pontoon”. The restaurant proposes a Medi- terranean menu with fish specialities, fresh fruits and vegetables, without forgetting the Sushi-bar for your exotic moments.Open all the year
We had great time at Key West St-Tropez.
They have wonderful location located at the entrance of parking area of Pampelonne beach.
They are offering great sun beds with a reasonable price. The beach is quite good with white sands and crystal clear water. Temperature of the water is little bit cold probably of our visit time (september)
During our visit,it was quite elegant and classy and we spent our whole day. Their menu is good and they have delicious salads.
You can change your clothes at there and also they are selling swimsuits. Besides you can also take a relaxing massage if you want.
I must say that key west will be the only place if i visit st tropez again.
I strongly recommend this place.

A very good surprise! Excellent food, fast service, good prices (at least for the overpriced area of St. Tropez), pleasant location.
Make sure you book a table, seems to be always full.
Don't go there with a low car, the parking is quite "off road" :)

Visited L'Orangerie many times during our holiday July/August and we loved the atmosphere of this beach club. Very friendly and relaxed, and stylish at the same time. Even if your are a couple, with or without kids, or some friends, I highly recommend this place. The food is a bit various, but good. You have to try their ice creme "salted caramel"; it is outstanding!!!

Gandhi is the first and only Indian restaurant in Saint-Tropez opened since 1990. Siva welcomes you in a nice Indian frame accompanied by its Indian music, its specialities are the tandoori and the Indian curry. Since 2002, we have been selected by the prestigious guide Gault & Millau.
My husband and I have lived in India, the Middle East and the United Kingdom, all areas where one can eat superb Indian food; so when we stumbled across this restaurant in St. Tropez, we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The naan and other breads were really good, and most of the curries were also very authentic and tasty. The only dubious ingredient was the paneer. I don't think it was true paneer but some other kind of cheese.
The restaurant was very busy on the two occasions that we went there, so the service wasn't 100 percent, but we didn't mind since we had the entire evening to enjoy the food and the ambience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the clientele consisted of all nationalities. Everyone was enjoying themselves - and what more could you want?!

It's not the best ice cream I had but it definitely is really good and they serve large portions. They have original flavors like "tarte tropezienne" and their own cookies or Oreo's.
Beware place is crowded so wait at the harbor and go watch soon as you see an opportunity
