Diner-style and family-friendly. Serving American comfort food. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Great food, Great service, a must stop if you are in the Oxford county area.
We used to come by here last year and the year before because the food was good and the price was right, we have tried it twice this year and sadly a little disappointed, the menu has changed used to have a logger special with eggs and bacon, pancakes, that is not offered at all, menu is limited now, and prices have gone up, ordered an omelet and it was under cooked still raw egg wash in the middle, hash browns consisted of a frozen patty you can buy in the grocery store and throw in the toaster, long for the old days when the price was right and the food was good, don't think well be back

I have been here several times very good . Yet if you call to place an order and they are busy they take both their phone lines off the hook and when you finally get through 20 minutes before they close at 8 pm they will tell you they are closed . When I asked if they take the phone off the hook I was told yes when they are busy . The women was very rude to me over the phone . Would not take my order and pretty much was like that's to bad for you . I would not call in for an order . They lost a $200 meal sale . To bad .

Frosty Delight is a convenient stop on Route 2, with plenty of parking. Order from the window as in most classic ice cream shops or go inside and experience the nostalgic decor of a 1950's malt shop. Super friendly staff and the owner is community minded and is involved with local charities and organizations.

most of this chain has the same food.some of the smaller ones do not make their own donuts.they get them from larger ones.they are pretty fresh but not like the big stores where they are much crisper if you know what I mean..they make a good breakfast sandwich .nice friendly service.

I grew up about 3 miles from Surry's and I'm a lobster junkie but very picky about my lobsters and lobster rolls. I stopped at Surry's this summer when I visited home because it is the only place to buy live lobster in the area (even Walmart has gotten rid of their live tank). I had ordered from Surry's before but this was new management. I was THRILLED with everything about the place! The owners are local, knowledgeable and working hard to give good value and service. Their efforts are paying off tremendously. The owner even smokes his own salmon and it's the best I've had (except for my father-in-law's and I now live in the smoked salmon capital of Seattle). It was slightly sweet, firm but not dry and very flavorful without being overly smoked or salty. It's Pacific style smoked and not like lox or Norwegian which are more raw. The lobsters were priced based on hard shell or soft shell. There were fresh pies, clams, whoopie pies, local beer, local Maine maple syrup and other items to complete your meal. You could even buy lobster bodies (when available) for a pittance! For those of us who are tomalley junkies (the green liver of the lobster), this was heaven!! Eating in was a treat! The lobster rolls are excellent with lots of fresh lobster meat and not too much mayo. There were no fillers such as lettuce, celery and the other stuff that places seem to think go into a lobster roll and THEY DON'T! The meat was both tail and claw meat whereas many places use frozen claw meat only as the tails are sold to the retail market. This lobster meat was fresh and had never been frozen (which destroys much of the delicate flavor of the lobster). The French fries were hot, hand cut and delicious as well. I have no idea what the other food was like but it looked and smelled amazing as well. I go home to Maine to eat lobster... lots and lots of lobster. We ate in once and picked up "to go" two more times in a week. I can't imagine eating anywhere else when in the area. I hope this family becomes my new best friends and I am willing to take a summer job there just to have access to their great food and fresh lobster. They are also really, really nice people, too! And the cheese? It's local, very inexpensive and equally delicious!! These guys know good food. Let's keep this small business rolling for a long time!!

Very good pizza and subs and sandwiches -- hot subs, cold subs, grilled panini sandwiches, you name it! And good salads too! Every meal I have had has been well-made, tasty, and satisfying. And great value.
The interior is pretty simple, but don't let that put you off -- the House of Pizza is always busy, with good reason!

As I attempted to push/pull the door to enter the Deluxe Diner in Rumford this morning, I heard a chorus of "Slide," from the regulars sitting near the door, which slides from side to side to allow entrance. Upon stepping in, I noticed Julie holding up a cup with a smile, "Coffee?" she asked, noting that they all enjoy watching newbies try to get in for the first time. OK, I knew I was in a fun place, as well as being in an original Worcester Diner, still in the same location as it was placed in 1929. It only got better during my breakfast. Julie, along with her sister Jodi bought the place a couple of years ago because she loved the history. (The walls serve as a museum for this diner, plenty of reading of articles posted from decades ago) I talked with several locals about the place, about the town and about how they come nearly daily to not only eat, but to socialize. There are no tables, just 16 stools at the counter. Great diner food as well. Both the breakfast and lunch menus offer a wide selection. I had raisin bread toast with my eggs and bacon. (Oh, yeah!) Stop in and visit Julie. She's a lot of fun. BTW, their slogan is "Home of eggs and insults." Gotta love it!

An awesome mom and pop restaurant. Breakfast served all day long. The best and cheapest breakfast you will ever have. The service is normally great! There's one waitress who has been there forever and always remembers my order. Dined there a couple days ago after out of town for over a year and she stilled remembered my order!
