Great empanadas filled with apricot, cherry or apple. The breakfasts aren’t as good as last time we visited about 2yrs ago. We do not like the red potatoes they fix. Bread for toast is great. Eggs were prepared good. We preferred the Log Cabin for breakfast.

I visited this lovely little coffee house recently when I visited an old friend in Ruidoso. My friend hosted a special event there. It was a wonderful venue for her event. The owners went all out to assist with appropriate food and libations for the event. A cucumber martini was one of my favorite things. A lovely treasure in a lovely setting. Great place to go. Food was wonderful.

Enjoyed the coffee, but the gluten free banana bread crumb cake took the cake! Delicious and generous sized slice big enough to share. Good variety of food items with some gluten free available and many coffee options.

Someone at a local hotel recommended Jorge's restaurant. It was a good recommendation- the food was delicious. I had the fish tacos, my daughter had chicken tacos- which was not on menu, and my other daughter had chicken enchiladas. The only downside is that they only bring you one serving of chips, and one small bowl of dip. If you want more, you must pay for it. Also, we waited a long time before getting our check- it took 10-15 minutes before I was able to get the waitress's attention. The prices are reasonable, the food is tasty, and I'd definitely go back again .

I love this place! Every trip to Ruidoso includes a trip to Village Buttery. Everything they serve is unique to them, delicious, and fresh. The desserts are yummy. Inside the building is small, and full at lunch. There is room outside in the sunshine if you wish. If eating deliciously healthy is for you so is the Buttery! The menu is on the wall behind the lady taking the orders, so check it out before you get ready to order. If you give it a try, you will return!

Map on here seems a little off, this is actually located at the racetrack. Very western/race horse themed place, gambling, horse racing nearby and pretty decent food. Used to have a buffet, those were the days... Staff is generally friendly, fun place to visit, kids will enjoy the atmosphere too

Mostly a la carte Mexican items made to order ("We are not a fast food restaurant--please allow time"-Menu). Tacos, burritos, tortas. I ordered a chicken burrito and received chips with a very hot (great!) green sauce followed by a burrito that required a fork, filled with just grilled shredded chicken with bits of tomato, onion, and green peppers--delicious. If I was in a hurry or looking for attentive service, I would have been unhappy. As it was, this was far better than hoped for on a carefree afternoon.

Excellent burger and fries. Since so good there is a line. They need more seating. Almost fight over tables. Go early if you can. We stood in line at 1:20 pm.
