Welcome to MEZZE ROUSE HILL where our philosophy is simple - Serve great tasting MOROCCAN and MEDITERRANEAN inspired FOOD in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Mezze Rouse Hill is a landmark for all locals living in the area and also surrounding suburbs. We cater for all ages and kids just love the atmosphere as we are surrounded by parks and play areas. This keeps the kids occupied while the adults can enjoy a relaxing breakfast, lunch or dinner accompanied by a drink or two. Mungerie was a typical Australian homestead with a verandah on three sides and a lean to verandah at the back. It was a lathe and plaster built house with timber weatherboard walls and an iron roof. Originally just four rooms coming off a central hallway with a detached kitchen out the back which now forms Mezze Rouse Hill. So come and join us at our restaurant to enjoy the history of Rouse Hill.
A friend shared 'The Local Shed' on Facebook so I decided to check it out and i'm so glad I did. It takes a lot for me to finish a breakfast but I had no trouble with my bruschetta and poached eggs with shaved parmesan - just delicious! This combined with one of the best lattes I've had from a cafe (including Melbourne) made for a lovely start to the day. The feel of the restaurant was relaxed and made you feel as though you were a world away from the hustle and bustle. The owners were wonderfully friendly and attentive. I cannot fault the place. I will be a regular now i've found this hidden gem.

Last time we ate with this family we enjoyed a Vietnamese meal in Castle Hill, now closed so they knew of this Thai place where we ate too much! Prawns, snapper, chicken, in various sauces. Can bring your own wine for $4 a head.Thank you for your review ! I’m glad to know you enjoyed your time here and we are looking forward to your next visit !

Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first.
I love my chicken wings.
I have had wings all over the world, but the spicy chicken wings which were part of the entree menu here, were some of the worst I have ever had.
They were dry, no sauce or coating in any way and certainly not spicey. The size of the wings were more like from a budgerigar and not a chicken. At $10.95 a real disappointment to say the least.
The butterscotch fondue waffle, was, while looking magnificent, was very tasteless.
No flavour in the wet cardboard textured waffle, and the butterscotch sauce was very watery, tasteless and not much in the candle heated bowl. Desserts are meant to be sweet right?
A friend at our table asked for burger, he then asked a fairly normal question when it comes to burgers. "Can I please have an egg on that burger?" The reply was stunning.
"We only do eggs in the morning" WTF? Really?
I think the prices are quite expensive for what you get.
Certainly you wouldn't say it's good value.
Now for the good.
The staff, especially the young lady who attended our table were sensational.
Always attentive to our needs, and when things were ordered, they were delivered swiftly. Drinks arrived quicker than any other place I have been.
Great work girls.
The rest of the food ordered seemed to go down well with our friends, and no complaints here.
The food was delivered quick, and was hot and fresh.
Bathrooms are very modern, clean and well presented. Yay, there is even paper towel.
Access for disabled is ok, but there is a section at the back of the restaurant, that wheelchairs can not access, due to a large step, but there is plenty of other Seating.
A HUGE negative for this restaurant, and others in the Rouse Hill Town Centre is parking.
Forget on street, and go into the dark depths of a rabbit warren that lies beneath the entire area.
If you want to go to Griddle, head towards the Big W & theatre signs, go underground & head to the purple car park area.
If you park near the big painting of an escalator, head up stairs, and your pretty much there.
All in all, a good night with friends, with the above issues.
Would we go back?
Yes, but if I want a burger at night, I will need to take my own egg :-)

If you want a relaxed atmosphere with great food options and licensed for alcohol then it's hard to top this place. Great spot to have a quick bite and a drink plus the service is pretty good too. I've been a few times and will continue to go back

The restaurant was nearly empty. The food was terrible. I have eaten there twice and both times have not enjoyed it. The staff with the trolleys are not nice and do not understand english. I ordered the salt n pepper squid and it was terrible. So chewy. never going back again.

Have been here several times and the food never disappoints. It’s a huge place with nice decor and the ambience is quite different between inside and outside of the building. If you prefer vintage style, Irish theme then it would be more suitable to sit outside. If you’re more into casual and trendy vibes, you can choose to sit outside. They also have sports bar there.
The place is more packed on the weekends so reserving a table is advised, especially if you are coming with a large group of people.
Today we had our usual dish that we always order here: bbq smokey pork ribs. I was also intrigued to try their new range: woodfired pizza from Al’s the pizzeria. I chose Mannaggia pizza today. It’s pretty good.
Their coffee is awesome too.

Wok on Inn was created to bring Asian street food, inspired by the 8 regions of Asia, to you. Our vibrant restaurants take you on a flavour safari. What we do is authentic. Whether it’s serving you bold, homemade recipes from the hawker stands of Bangkok and Shanghai or creating an edgy, urban street atmosphere within our restaurants. This passion for authenticity combined with the best and freshest local ingredients like lean beef, chemical-free chicken and garden fresh vegetables ensures that what we do seamlessly, so well that it might make you spill a tear of gratitude, is delicious, healthy and unforgettable street style noodles.
I frequently come here and love every dish. I love hot food; insipid food should be against the law. There are many options from which to choose. Pick your protein, noodle and sauce. It's that simple. The spicy dumplings are also worth trying and the peanut satay skewers are mouth watering. Most dishes have been savored by me and my husband, including the soups. They are my solution to colds and flu. I love this place.

We recommend this restaurant to everyone due to good food, good services and good price compare to Money Bag Thai restaurant at Baulkham Hill. Authentic Thai decor reasonable price and family friendly. It is not a big size restaurant so you are expecting some waiting if no reservation

A great little Italian restaurant (just up from the Lusso Tapas place) and plenty on offer. We had the Arancini for entree followed by the Balmain Bug spaghetti and a supreme pizza. Wood fired pizza is always great and Lusso's is no exception.
Fantastic and friendly service too. Conveniently located near the cinema and plenty of parking too.

If you've got a thirst for craft beers, hearty yet refined pub food and entertainment for all the family, let Rouse Hill favourite The Australian Hotel and Brewery quench it. We're all about family, food and fun at The Australian Brewery, with boutique craft beers brewed on the premises, an expansive sporting and games hub, private function rooms, all weather kids play areas and a large bistro serving fresh local produce and daily food specials. Our award winning entertainment destination, also boasts an exposed brick covered beer garden and nightclub venue The Cool Room hosting some of Sydney's best DJs - all under one classically Aussie tin roof. Fresh, Pure, Australian, The Australian Hotel and Brewery is more than just a watering hole.
We came here to celebrate our cousin's birthday and we were pleasantly surprised by the size of this pub and the different areas available to cater for different guests.
There was a kids play area as well as an arcade games area for the older kids, and while the kids run wild inside, the parents can relax with drinks by the Seating area just outside each play area's entrance knowing they can keep an eye on their kids at the same time. There is a also a small gated and cushioned area for the toddlers to run around in.
For guests without kids, they can sit in the large quiet area to sit back and relax while enjoying drinks and tasty pub food, and watch the sports on the large screens. The bar serves a variety of craft and specialty beers along with the usual bar drinks. while the bistro serves a variety of pub food such as garlic breads, pizzas, steaks, fish & chips, and chicken schnitzels.
There are also plenty of parking outside, and a number of security guards are on patrol to keep guests safe.
Excellent location to enjoy an afternoon with family and friends.
