El Charro, owned and operated by the Martin family, is renown for consistently providing authentic, delicious Mexican cuisine & their famous tacos. El Charro has always been a Fraser community staple, with a beautiful decor and unique atmosphere, with original Mexican recipes derived from Delia’s parents, Consuelo and Rosalio Rendon. Great reviews and guest satisfaction have always been a priority for El Charros & the Martin family and have become pillars for their growth. Since its conception, George and Delia Martin and their young family, Ed, Jeff, Mark and Lynn, worked long hours to establish a thriving family oriented business they are very proud of. Following in the family tradition, the grandchildren also work at the restaurant, making it truly a family business.

The original Fraser, Michigan location opened in 1971, with financial backing from George’s parents, George, Sr. and Lila Martin. It was then a small full service establishment with a seating capacity of just over 45 patrons. El Charro quickly began to grow & In 1978, the capacity doubled in sized to 90 seats. In 1980 a new 60-seat restaurant with a convenient drive-thru window opened in St. Clair Shores. By 1992, the original Fraser location, still not large enough to accommodate the growing crowds, led to the construction of a new 240-seat restaurant in downtown Fraser. Its third location in Macomb, with seating for 120 patrons, opened to quite the fanfare in 2004. El Charros newest location was established in Troy with a seating capacity of 96 and just celebrated its second year anniversary.

The Martin family would like to thank you for your business and invites everyone to “Experience the Essence of Mexico” at El Charro.
Went out on Saturday with Friends for dinner restaurant. Place was quite busy but nevertheless we got nice table. Our waitress was very attentive waiter and we enjoyed quite fast service. The Mexican food was good and the portions were large. Decoration of the place is nice.

At This Time Please Remove Menu From Our Post. The Menu Shown Is Older And At This Time We Would Like To Just Have Our Menu Removed. Thank You.
This place provides everything you would expect from a classic steakhouse. A dark, inviting atmosphere. Excellent and attentive servers. And your usual steak options. We also enjoyed the French onion soup. My Caesar salad had a little too much dressing on it for me but others at the table enjoyed it. Enjoy

I was running an errand with a relative in a Roseville area today. It was a very hot day. It was already 4pm, and I didn't have lunch yet. We thought you can't go wrong with the ice cream, especially on a hot, muggy day. I generally like Cold Stone ice cream. My favorite is sweet cream flavor. I use to go to Birmingham & Royal Oak locations, but they went out of business. I was very disappointed with today's visit to Roseville location. I was going to buy a bottle of coke to start with. But they only had 3 bottles of dasani water left. I asked the clerk if they have any pop. She said that they don't have any left. She also said that they were expecting a shipment, but the truck didn't show up, and as the result they are out of a lot of stuff. She was actually polite. It's not her fault. It's the owner's. I ordered "Berry Berry" creation, which consist of sweet cream flavor ice cream, strawberries & blueberries. They were out of strawberries. The clerk was nice enough to let me substitute strawberries for white chocolate chips. ( that's why I am rating at average instead of poor). However, the ice cream came out too watery. I guess this particular creation supposed to come with strawberries. My medium cup was around $5.00. I felt like money went down the drain. Will not be back, neither will recommend.

A cozy and elegant Royal Tea Room is great for 1-65 guests. Our specialty is our Just Delicious Scones brand and gourmet quiches. A retail store is nice for buying fresh baked goods, baskets, trays. Carry-out offerings. We make delicious gifts!
Our Girlfriend's Christmas luncheon at this delightful tea room was delicious! It is a charming dining experience in what might seem an unexpected storefront location. The scones and lunch entrees were exceptionally good. We really enjoyed our lovely celebration of friendship.

We had a table of 8. All friends that get together every Thursday night. I am not sure what was going on tonight but it was a very bad experience. Soup was lukewarm and wateredown. Several meals were just plain awful. Corned beef sandwich was way overcooked. One lady had the pizza supreme and the onions were simply not cooked. Another Lady would not eat her meal and they did take it off her bill. When I went to checkout I did not have my card with me so I had to give the cashier my telephone number. I finally got it on the 3rd try. My fault. So I asked that the points be applied to my bill and she told me that she asked me when we started if I wanted the points added or used. I never heard her and neither did anyone else. I had been advised by email that points were added for my birthday. But I had to use them by November 1. Well, I am going out of town and will not be able to use them by then. Actually that is why we went there tonight. So much for the birthday points. Probably the worst experience that we have had in a few years but we will avoid this location for some time.

$3.50 for a small black coffee? Come on ... That is ridiculous. The only reason I stopped in is because I had a gift card to burn up otherwise there is no way in h31l I would pay that much for a cup of coffee

Stopped at Famous Dave's because it was close to motel. Had rib tips and brisket and both were very good. Mashed red potatoes and cornbread also very good. Service was appropriately attentive but a bit slow (placed was packed on a Monday night) Bread pudding was excellent and HUGE (enough for 2 or 3). Hot BBQ sauce is REALLY, REALLY hot. Price was pretty reasonable. Would definitely return if in the area.

Just like a Southern smokehouse , barbecue joint!! Great selection and first visit. Had the monthly special of smoked country ribs and jalapeño Mac n cheese. Generous portion and it was only $6. Service pretty fast-about 5 minutes.
Have a patio area alongside for good weather dining. Do a bang up carry out business and also noticed they cater and have a food truck as well.
Easy access off I 696 st Groesbeck. Must revisit to try combo, ribs, brisket and other goodies.

After being in the area for nearly two weeks this was one of the first places that really impressed me! Quick service, friendly & fast staff, and a hot meal that was right on spot! The sirloin steak and half a chicken was amazing! Great flavor and the sides of broccoli, carrots and rice were a great combo!
