I never mind an Old School Italian eatery as after I moved from Chicago I have rarely got to experience this kind of nostalgic type of dining. I was ready for some carb overload so I ordered the campanelle pasta, but instead of shrimp, I asked for chicken. Why? Living in SC, where we get these crustaceans fresh from local waters minutes after being harvested, I didn’t dare order them here. The pasta came with fresh spinach in a tomato chive cream sauce.
The dish certainly had potential but in the end it was just too heavy. Italians never drown their pasta in sauce, but know how to expertly dress the noodles to reach the right balance. This dish suffered from too much liquid and as a result became a mish mash rather than a coherent symphony of ingredients. The pasta became gummy and eventually completely unappetizing. Would we return? Doubtful.

They sell seafood meals here but even better is the fresh seafood that they sell retail. The selection of top quality seafood is impressive. We ate lunch there. The only negative is ,no coffee. Not a huge problem for a place that sells wine with the meal. I had the grouper, grilled sandwich. It was very good. The price may seem high but considering the price of top quality seafood like I had, it is very fair. If you want to impress you inlaws or parents with how well you cook sea food, get the meat here.

Took my niece for lunch and we shared a grilled peach salad, pumpkin ravioli, whitefish and a dessert and of course a bottle of wine. Wines were well priced. Salad was described as grilled peaches ... but actually there was maybe half a sliced peach on a lot of arugula with few goat cheese crumbles - very tasty but overpriced. Mains are served with soup or salad. Generous portion of pumpkin ravioli [ maybe 9 ] and sauce was tasty but a bit too sweet to our taste. Whitefish well prepared and we were tempted to try the cesar salad with it but decided we'd had enough salad. We thought bread was dry altho it was nice soaked in the ravioli sauce. Cloth tablecloths, very friendly service. Nice touch for an upscale lunch

This is an environmentally sound restaurant that required many years of patience to get the approval to build the wind turbine that generates all the electricity for this restaurant.
As you enter into this restaurant it resonates the historical decor.
Just a fantastic place to eat and enjoy looking at all the features of the walls, ceiling, wood work.
Historians say that Al Capone was at this bar. A must read from their menu.
And the food... The blackened catfish had a very nice balance of spice. The salmon was encrusted with a nice crunch of walnuts and flaked perfectly into the fork.
Service was a tad slower on a Saturday night and was to be expected on a busy night.
We enjoyed sitting in the bar area where all the history was. Be patient for your service and food. The servers were making many steps to accommodate everyone as busy as it was. If you go on a busy night don't plan for anything after because it might take longer to get your food but well worth it. Not many restaurants run off their own power so it was fun just to hear the story and that they have the renewable mindset.

Enjoyed a fantastic evening at Gibson's with six co-workers. We started out as "that group" when two of our party ordered non-traditional, not-on-the-menu cocktails; both our waiter and the bartender rolled with it, and came up with fantastic options! Of course the steaks were out of this world amazing, and importantly, all served exactly to the temperature requested!! Sides were delicious, especially the brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Desserts--"as big as your head"--seriously! Great service, great food, great cocktails, great desserts--all add up to a fantastic evening!

Super fresh. Great fries, awesome hotdogs with all the fixings. Great burgers. Tiny little place that's a huge hit with local businesses. Great place to take the kids for lunch on a Saturday. Fresh, hot, quick fast food for when the bug hits you!

This small, but always crowded, little diner serves good old fashioned meals (breakfast being my favorite here) at prices that make your wallet smile. Service include friendly smiles, refilled coffee mugs, and attention to details. They'll make anything you like anyway you like. Home made salsa for eggs is just icing on the cake. I almost hate to give this a good review for fear the secret will be out and I'll have to wait for a seat. totally worth it!

My husband and I have had wonderful dinners here before but not so with my sister! Seated in front of a noisy kitchen even though promised lounge when reservation was made, worst Cosmo I've ever had and beets in salad were so hard I couldn't cut them! Manager greeted tables around us but not us...maybe because we were two women? Will probably never return - for those inflated prices, I expect more.

We were eating sushi and drinks cocktails. Sushi is great, only lil bit smaller than I like to eat. Service is great, seating is little bit tidy. Good for quick dinner

You really need to love meat to get the full benefit of paying for the Churrasco Experience. The Market Table provides a nice break from the meat, fresh & good variety. The one thing I was really looking forward to was the lamb chops. Unfortunately, they were way overcooked. It is a nice place for a business lunch, but the energy & atmosphere is much better during their busy dinner time.
