This place is out in the middle of nowhere of the Sierra Highway in Rosamond. Chilled salad plates, chilled salad forks. Excellent service. Excellent food. Try the Mocaljete which is like Mexican seafood fondue. The sauce is an excellent mole. Everything from shrimp, beef, cactus, chilies etc. In a hot cauldron of spectacular goodness. Top notch service. Lots of parking. A must stop

Place could really do with a remodel! The springs in some of the bench seats are broken and you have to adjust to find a comfortable position to sit, ripped and stained. Carpet looks like it's original to the building. Carpet is also, stained and dirty. No air conditioning only a small roof evaporate cooler so if it's warm outside, IT'S MISERABLE inside! Food is the usual "Diner" food that is served hot and with a smile.

I love this locally owned Coffee house. Their friendly staff always know what I want and have it started before I drive up to the window. I am a "latte snob", so when I say it is the best, I mean it. It has a creamy, velvety texture that can't be found at "big name" coffee houses. They offer all kinds of specialty coffees and will customize it to your taste or dietary needs. Don't miss out on the pastries, muffins, scones, bagels, etc. you wont go wrong. There are a few tables to sit outside to enjoy a beautiful day.

This restaurant once was a long established Rosamond pizza place (Chuck's). Looking around, you call still see it hasn't completely morphed into a fine mexican restaurant just yet. As you'll see in a picture I've included, it's currently a table and chair getup. No booths.... nothing as nice as some more established chains. This place truly has the "family owned/operated" flair, and in this case it's a good thing. The service was personable and prompt. No real waiting for anything, but the preparation of our meals. The food.... the chips were quite good and served with both salsa and a bean dip (I personally wish all mexican restaurants would follow suit). The salsa was spicy, but not hot. Great flavor - didn't taste like store bought. The meals served were large portions with full plates. The carnitas were quite good, as was the enchiladas and taquitos. The rice was decent, but pretty much as found most anywhere. Same with the refried beans. My asada tacos were decent, but lacked the flavor I had hoped for. The prices here were quite reasonable. Overall, this was a pleasant experience and one I'd consider worth another visit. This was our first time at Robertos, so I can't vouch for consistency. However, one of my associates eats there regularly and claims it as her favorite in Rosamond. That was good enough for me to give it a go.

This is a really good restaurant where a few friends and myself meet and enjoy ourselves every week. Very friendly and good service and the food is always wonderful. They serve all the standard "gringo" Mexican dishes and they also have great fish main course items on the menu.
The restaurant has a north view across the single runway at the small Rosamond airport and it is absolutely beautiful. A complete western landscape that looks like a scene from a John Ford western movie. I hope when you visit this restaurant that you take the time to enjoy it.
I listed it as mid range pricing but it is really on the low side of that.
a fine value!

This is a good, traditional quick burger and other food stop, when driving from LA on the 14 and 395 to anywhere (including Mammoth). The reason I would go is because they have a Lime Slush. On of the very few places that even sell a slush. You can get a variety of quick food, ice creams, shakes and sundaes. Worth a stop.

The location was older but appeared to be taken care of. It was clean and the food was good. Salad and main dishes were very fresh. Hot food was hot, cold food was cold and the beer was cold. Good value for the money.

Great food and prices. HUGE portions! Love the hash-browns. Great service and old fashion style. The omelet is massive i would suggest the half.
