Small shanty shack --- EXCELLENT fresh food .. you eat out back on a few picnic tables .
Not fancy --- Just very good fresh LOBSTERs & Clams -- Clam Chowder was some of the best I ever had -- Less than $5.00 a cup.
They were serving up MANY whole fresh steamed Lobster while we were there.

authentic flavorful top-quality strudel (layers of dough with fruit or cheese fillings). worth the drive, plus you can then wander around rockport's bearskin-neck peninsula. a simple european pastry that when properly prepared is light, flaky, tasty and satisfying. perfection would be a bit thicker and moister at the base, but no complaints - excellent. also offers coffee, croissants, muffins and coffee. nice back deck with water view if not too crowded.

A casual dining experience, with a view of Front Beach, Nate's is a charming family operated restaurant. Specializing in delicious fried seafood, we serve hamburgers, wraps, salads and even ice cream for dessert.
Nate's is a tiny restaurant with only about seven tables, but was conveniently located a short walk down the street from our motel. I had the eggs benedict and my husband had an omelet. Everything was delicious, including the coffee. The service was prompt and attentive. Their breakfast menu was extensive to satisfy anyone's needs.

We visited a quite few ice cream shops in Rockport but this one was the worst. The guy serving was as miserable as sin and the ice cream portions were not too generous compared to the other shops. Recommendation: go elsewhere, there are plenty to choose from in Rockport.

Went for Sunday brunch. Great coffee and the best jam-filled doughnuts. The place wasn't too busy, great, but I still waited ages (after the other 5 members of my party had finished their brunch) to receive my sandwich. Other people behind me in the queue were receiving their order before mine. No explanation given for delay. I suggest your service needs a little tweak.

All kinds of candy to choose from. Also a large gift area with some nice things to buy. Right in downtown Rockport

Honestly I did not order a hot dog. I had fried clam strips and fries.
They were excellent- good sized portion, reasonably priced. Teeny restaurant that was packed the whole time I was there so safe to assume the hot dogs were great as well. They do have some outside seating. am

New owners as of February 2016! Now serving breakfast all day and lunch. BYOB
Nice, (very) little breakfast spot in downtown Rockport which only seats about 25 people so you may have to wait for a seat and depending on the line, it could take a while. The food was average as the hash browns/fried potatoes had too much garlic powder on them to enjoy. Sausages were overcooked and dry. Was excited to go after reading all of the positives reviews but our experience was a bit underwhelming.
