Hotel-restaurant complex “Aivengo” is located on round motorway Kiev-Chop, in 3 km from Rivne-city. Amazing atmosphere of sheltered spot and comfort is made by the majestic medieval style. It’s the modern complex, which offers its guests filling of refinement and home attention with a personal touch. Our restaurant with variety of european and traditional ukrainian dishes will pleasantly surprise you.
If our are not in a hurry to reach Kiev, Aivengo hotel and Restaurant is a right place to spend a night in vicinity of Rivne city. It's like you are coming back to the knights' era. In spite of being located on a very busy road, all the rooms are very quite. The food is a bit overpriced but excellent. The rooms quite big to accommodate a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). You'd better ask for a room with two double beds. Otherwise, the second bed is very small.
They can also offer sauna, car-wash and many other services.

The best place for Italian food in the town. Pleasant casual atmosphere, very good service, and really great Italian pizzas. They are made in the stove, thin bottom, and ingredients like parma, parmigiano, and salami imported from Italy.
They also have take-away service.
Haven't tasted pasta in this place, but it looked good.
Have been to this place with family, friends, on dates - always great experience, always excellent service, always come back when I get a chance.

Ventotto is a two-storied Italian place featuring picturesque murals of Venice on one of the walls. The service is not awfully welcome but food is delicious. Greek salad was fresh and tasty. They also served great meat.
Disappointingly, they do not serve latter but capuccino with double milk was good compromise.

We arrived to Rivne late at night and after check-in were too tired to search for a place to eat out. The nearby Marmelad didn’t sound appealing to those of us craving for meat or fish, and we decided to give a try to Lublin, a restaurant of our Ukraina hotel.
It enjoys excellent location in the heart of the city, on Teatralniy Maidan, and has separate street and hotel entrances. Attached to it, there’s an Irish Pub - lively popular place for grabbing a beer and people-watching. While the pub was full, we happened to be the only visitors of the restaurant.
Its exquisite interior has won our hearts immediately. The ambience was welcoming for a fine relaxed evening, but at the same time didn’t look binding (and we were dressed for the road).
The menu (bilingual, including English) had one Polish cuisine page, and most of other entries were Ukrainian or European. A good wine list, with Georgian, French, South American and some other wines, served by glass and by bottle; fine choice of spirits and cocktails from the bar.
We ordered some salads and hot d'oeuvres, lasagne and main courses. The portions turned out too large to leave any room for the desserts. All meals we tried were very good, and their presentation was not ordinary, but with a touch of a fantasy.
But most of all I was impressed by the service: top attentive, fast, but not intrusive. We were given appropriate recommendations and were never left in front of the dirty plates or empty glasses. Just perfect.
The bill (inclusive of cocktails and soft drinks) came at about US$ 30 per person. This might seem high for Rivne and perhaps explains absence of other visitors, but is a terrific value by Kyiv standards, and was certainly worthy it. Major credit cards were accepted.
At first sight, Lublin seems suitable for a special occasion or a meaningful romantic evening only. But what for us was meant to be a regular dinner in the vicinity to our hotel did give an impression of a special occasion - largely thanks to cozy interior and impeccable service.

Maidan tavern is a popular Rivne restaurant to eat out on budget. One of the best places in town to either try tasty local cuisine, or – not at all surprising for Ukraine – pizza.
We dropped in as it was on our way to the hotel from a side trip we made. The tavern is located on the central Soborna Street but somewhat off the city centre. Occupies second floor and offers tranquil city views.
No parking in front of it, so we had to climb to the pavement and park by the tank memorial. Not too comfortable but free.
The interior – in kitschy pseudo-folk Ukrainian style – is an attraction in itself: rough wooden tables and benches, traditional daily-life items and pictures of Ukraine scenery on the walls...
The menu was cheerfully decorated with jokes and verses. It offered a variety of the traditional Ukrainian meals - borsch, deruny, varenyky etc. But nearly half of the entries were... pizzas of various kinds.
Food (we opted for Ukrainian) was really good. We ordered generously: seafood salads, green borsch served in high bread, meat a la Française and chicken cutlet with some rice and vegetables as well as varenyky with cottage cheese and potato. Varenyky were delicious, and we repeated the order twice. The portions were so large that we failed to squeeze in the crepes.
They also serve okay kvas, fine berry mors and delicious home-made liquors – but only cherry and horseradish.
Service was the poorest part, spoiling our first impressions. The waitresses were awful – rude and careless. But at least fast enough with the plates.
The bill was second best part after the meals – under US$10 per person including drinks, one third of what we paid in Lublin the night before (see separate review).
Recommended if you seek for good value and can ignore poor service.

When traveling to Rivne for work recently, I did not expect to find an American-style blues and jazz club! It was a friendly spot on the night we went but there wasn't live music.
Our food was good. Shashlik and grilled vegetables were tasty. Those who ordered steaks were pleased with their food as well.
Our servers were nice and very friendly with us. They even helped me along in Ukrainian while I tried to practice, which I really appreciated.
This would be a great spot to take in live music and drinks if the band is good. I'd definitely return if I find myself in Rivne again.

Located close to the centre of Rivne. Cafelike place with standard menu. The card is in Ukrainian only, but for foreigners this is just another challenge. The food was fine and the prices compared to Paris were absolutely low. Good place for daily days eating.

In the heart of the city of Rivne corner is good old Ireland - PAB «Ayrish», the ideal place for business meetings, romantic dates, family, parties and corporate events. Feel the taste of Ireland with a glass of the best beer in the world «Guineess», and plunge into the atmosphere of warmth and comfort during the partying, watching broadcasts of sports events. Nice live music from the band «Sound +», classic European and National Irish cuisine, great selection of beer - come and make sure!

A group of friends and I went to Kampot on a business trip recently and our experience was great. On a chilly day, the indoor dining room with roaring pizza oven provided a nice, cozy atmosphere.
Expect to use what Ukrainian or Russian you have at Kampot. Waitstaff will be patient with you though as you communicate. Trouble with the menu? Just use google translate's photo function.
As for the food, it came to the table surprisingly quickly after we ordered. I had a Caesar salad and grilled vegetables, a coworker had borsch, and another had a sausage dish. Everybody in our group gave the meal high marks. And it was very reasonably priced as well.
If you're in Rivne, I would highly recommend making a stop into Kampot for a meal!
