We went here for an early supper with our grandkids and their parents while we were visiting. Good thing we got there early--just before 5 pm--or I don't think we would have found a table. The place was jammed, and it looked like the take-out crowd was much larger than those eating in. So, as you'd expect, the noise level was high with lots of older teens and young adults trying to overtalk each other, some throwing up gang signs to other tables. No problem if all you want to do is pigout on pizza, but if you want to carry on a conversation while you eat, take-out is probably a better choice.
Everyone in the place seemed to love the pizza based on the way they were wolfing it down, and our local family members raved about it. We, however, felt differently. We've eaten every type of pizza served in the U.S. and Italy, and like all--well most--when they're done well. The pizzas here were loaded with toppings, probably the most toppings we've ever seen on pizzas. However, the crusts here were even doughier than Domino's--which is one of our least favorite pizzas--and was made even less appealing by being soaked in the overwhelming grease that dripped from the cooked toppings.
That said, to each his own, and the people who live here love this pizza. It's just not for us.

The drive thru is always fast and friendly! Quality of coffee is always amazing. I always go to Starbuck and they always have a great staff regardless of location.

Sunshine Donuts is a very good place for donuts! It's nice and cheap, staff is friendly but not in your face, and the donuts are great. They are always happy to make a jelly-filled donut for me, and always give some extra donuts. I love this place!

We stopped here for a Friday lunch. It's a noisy fun place with lots of locals and TVs showing reruns of last nights NFL game. Our server, Joseph P, was friendly and courteous. We both decided on the Taco Salad. The decor is about what you'd expect in a historic downtown area. The salads arrived in good time and the portions were huge. They were built on a base of beans with lettuce, beef (or chicken or pork if you want), guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes, cheese, etc. The taco shells were enormous. Neither of us could finish them. Prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed on lunch experience at the Ripon Roadhouse.

Hubby and I ate here for dinner this past week. We are newbies to Thai food, so had to rely on the waitress for guidance. We enjoyed the chow main, which is very different from traditional Chinese restaurants, but infused with subtle flavors, pork, and veggies. The waitress steered us towards the fried fish in garlic sauce which was also wonderful. The sauce had bits of basil in it, and the serving size was generous. We are looking forward to going back and trying more dishes. The ambiance is very nice, as was the food presentation. We enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend this restaurant.

I've eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. From burgers to steaks all have been very good. They have a bar area separated from the dining room which is nice so you can have a nice quiet dinner without the noise of a bar scene.

Ate breakfast with my wife and father in law and as usual we enjoyed a great breakfast! The portions were huge not like Denny's where they skimp on how much they give you. Great home town atmosphere, clean unlike Denny's in Manteca where it is dirty(inside & out)

The food was above average. The tacos and strawberry margaritas were very good. The environment was kind of interesting with a wall of OSB sheathing. Then I found out that they were expanding into the space next door. I can see why, the restaurant got very busy as we were eating.
