Went there for dinner. Party of 9. White guy who greeted us at door was very fake and obnoxious. Wore clothes for someone 10-15 years younger and thought he was cool! Our server was very attentive. I've eaten at a ton of Mexican places and I guess I'm spoiled by Tortilla Factory in Barboursville, WV. The food was very disappointing as far as the taste and portions. Service was quick, but the food was just below average. Probably will never eat there again.

The Dairy Queen in Ripley, WV, is conveniently located right on one of the main roads through town and serves a lot more than ice cream! The barbecue sandwiches are delicious and the chicken tender platter is tasty and more than most people can eat. The service is quick and easy, the seating plentiful, and the ice cream products will melt in your mouth! All sorts and styles of frozen cakes and other treats are available to take home, and the Blizzard shakes are wonderful and frequently changing with the seasons!

The Fairplain Yacht Club provides a unique dining experience. Located in the country but still, just off the interstate. At FYC we have something for everyone. Come in and try a delicious appetizer and one of our local draft beers before settling in on one of our dinner entrees. Or come down and watch the game and enjoy one of our thirteen gourmet hand pattied 1/2 lb burgers. What ever you fancy theFairplain Yacht Club is here to please.

First time visit with my sister and friends here. I wasn't sure what to expect with the Yacht club name.
I enjoyed going to town on tasting various craft beers from the fine state of WV, I even purchased a few growlers. I ordered the tips medium and they came out well done, not a major issue, they were still good. Appetizers and meal were tasty. I'd visit again.

This is centered across from the courthouse, on the square. Lots of locals and visitors to the courthouse dine here. So, there is a mixture of people, but everyone is always pleased. Great home cooking. Locally owned and operated; so, they take great pride in their food -- particularly their pies! Don't leave without tasting their pies.

In terms of restaurants in Ripley, this is one of the better ones. The service is efficient and friendly. The appetisers were good but the highlight were the crab cakes for the main course. They are full of crab meat - not padding! - and two were certainly enough for me. Good wines here as well

Stopped in for a break from the road and found exactly what I was expecting from a Bob Evans: clean, friendly, good food, good price. Our server was quick and attentive, the food was ready quickly and served hot. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. My only advice is for the young man greeting and seating people. Slow down and smile a little more.

The fajitas were exceptional. My niece had Polio Rojas (I think). It looked really good and Cale in a fajita pan. We're not down here often but I would come back

Stopped off I-77 to grab dinner and while the service was okay, the food was terrible. The chicken parmesan tasted like some sort of frozen, ground chicken patty with processed cheese. My wife's chicken bruschetta had rubbery chicken with way too much vinegar. We'll definitely pass on this restaurant in the future.

We wanted to just get hotdogs for a quick stop. They were very good and topped with the works. They have only a couple small tables , mostly a drive thru and pickup service restaurant. It appears to be family owned and have young adults working alongside. They also have tacos,nachos, peperoni roll,chicken wrap, and 2 salad choices: garden and taco. Don't let the outside features scare you. The kitchen is clean, food was good, and the service was excellent. Would definitely stop here again instead of any other fast food choice.

When they first opened the food was amazing the buffet bar always stocked with fresh food. Since the have expanded the quality has went down tremendously. The wait staff only know a few word's of english and you are never sure that they truly understand what you request.
