Been here forever. Get the hot dog ""ripped"- that is, well done so it splits on a toasted bun. Fries are outstanding. A vintage roadside stand that beats them all, anywhere. Very old with no updates. Kitchy. Outside bathroom and parking. Serves a good burger also. No gimmics.

Nestled in New York City's Upper West Side, Levain headquarters is a cozy neighborhood bakery where locals are greeted by name. A steady stream of loyal regulars stand side by side with tourists, eager to sample the legendary baked goods. From an inventive array of rustic breads to the world-famous six-ounce chocolate chip walnut cookie, everything is baked on-site, fresh every day from the finest natural ingredients. What doesn't sell that day goes to help feed the hungry-a mission that has been solidly in place since the beginning. The bakery was founded in 1994 by friends Connie McDonald and Pam Weekes. At the time, Connie was in banking and Pam in Fashion. The two, both competitive swimmers, trained together for the Ironman and-not surprisingly, as their tireless workouts left them feeling starved for great food- they began a passionate dialog about creating the world's greatest chocolate chip cookie. Within just a few years, Levain Bakery had become a neighborhood institution and a destination for epicurious travelers from around the world. Demand continued to grow. In 2000, to satisfy their regular clientele summering in the Hamptons, the two opened a second bakery in the village of Wainscott on Long Island's East End. And today, through their website, they now ship their world-famous cookies to happy fans around the globe.
The best Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie on Earth. This bakery doesn't have many options, but what they do is amazing! Their chocolate is just perfect - not overly sweet, but think and creamy. I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone as this is the best and biggest cookie in the city.

Welcome to the River Palm Terrace, New Jersey's finest steakhouse! We serve the finest prime beef available anywhere. Only 1% of the beef fabricated in America is suitable for use in our restaurant. Our beef is hand selected from the best-fed cattle by the finest stockyard packing companies in the west. The steaks are center cut only from U.S.D.A. Prime Beef, aged on the premises to the mellow point of perfection and then hand crafted by our own butcher for incomparable tenderness and flavor. Even our prime rib is prime. All of our prime beef is tender and juicy beyond imagination.....Search the world over, taste and savor, you'll find no other meats to compare, by any standards, with superb selections of the River Palm Terrace restaurant. This is an assurance and our promise.
Our small office decided to have a Christmas party and we were looking for steaks. We decided on the River Palm Terrace because of the reviews. You enter this small bar with tables and then the main dining room off to the left. We were...MoreThank you for taking the time to write a review, we appreciate your feedback! Have a great day!

Authentic Italian food at its best! BYOB. I've been coming here for over 20 years... everything on the menu is amazing! Arrive early on weekends since it fills up fast. No reservations needed, but the wait time can be long on a weekend.

Probably eat in Amarone once or twice a month. Very consistent service, excellent menu and accommodating hosts (Nick and Nick). Kind of quiet, but nothing wrong with that.

Love this place!!!!
A strip mall dedicated to 100% Japanese imports! Book store, gift shop, the main grocery store! The cafe area in the grocery store (CASH ONLY) is wonderful. Around 15 types of food choices - all authentic Japanese! Ramen, sushi, the rice ball stand is amazing! So simple yet so much flavor!
We came on a weekend and the parking lot was full! Had to loop around and finally found one- I am sure weekdays are not as busy!
We enjoyed eating lunch and having a yummy matcha tea drink before spending over two hours in the grocery store and book store combined!
Weather you like Japanese food or not, come here and explore around! So many new flavors and things you can try and love.

Very cozy, real italian pizzeria in the heart of Harlem, great pizza and wine selection
I was in NY bringing my son back to school and we stopped here to eat, 4 of us. We started with the beet salad and the spinach salad. Both were fresh and excellent. We then ordered 2 pies, a Margherita Pizza and the Burrata Pizza (which they only do Fri-Sunday). Both were excellent. I've eaten A LOT of pizza over the years and the pizzas we enjoyed are really the best Neapolitan Pizza's I've had. So good, in fact, we ordered a 3rd pizza, the Aglio Olio. I can't say enough good things. The place was clean, great atmosphere and a very friendly staff. Definitely worth the trip if you're uptown anywhere.
