Dinner started with soft bread with dipping oil. I ordered a fresh chopped salad (feta cheese, greens, olives, tomatoes, pepperoncini etc.) and the double pork chop dinner (shared by two, definitely enough food to do so).
Service was great, venue very nice. Would definitely recommend. Consistently good food and good value.

What's not to love....great coffee and beer. The atmosphere is really cool. The coffee was good. Nothing special about the house blend roast I had but smooth and tasty. Also had a great beer while there. Impressive selection of about 12 nice craft beers.

Stopped by after bike riding on the Cardinal Greenway. Had their Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwich (with Raisons) and Baked Beans. Both were delicious! They had lots of different kinds of sandwiches (several meatless options) as well as salads and pizzas (gluten free available) . Convenient to the Bike Trail.

Several flavors of ice cream, gelato and custard. We liked being able to sample before purchasing . Lots of toppings. Self serve and pay by the ounce. The young lady working was helpful since this was our first visit. Several tables inside and a couple of outdoor tables. Looking forward to returning on our next trip east.

Our office enjoyed a great time at this cozy restaurant. I had the beef stroganoff, while the others consumed crab cakes, fettuccine Alfredo, chicken broccoli casserole, and linguine. All of the dishes were tasty and polished off very quickly! We were seated on the lower floor in a quiet corner of the restaurant which made for easy conversation. Can't wait to do it again!

Just as others have said a stop in Richmond isn't complete without popping into Joy Ann's for some sweets. The smiley face cookies, the thumbprint cookies are always a go to. If you don't have a strong love of frosting this isn't your place. The frosting is what does it for me especially on their cakes. The white cake frosting always takes me back to family birthdays where this fat boy always wanted at least a second piece! My go to pastry is the flatjack. A flat cinnamon roll with caramel frosting covering the top. if you want these get there early or call ahead to have them set aside for you because they sell out.

The Firehouse BBQ and Blues is Richmond Indiana's oldest firehouse. Owned and operated by two Richmond Firefighters, it is Indiana's premier BBQ restaurant. We specialize in southern style smoked pork, chicken, and brisket, and serve it up in a comfortable, nostalgic atmosphere. Live Blues music can be enjoyed every Friday and Saturday night. We also specialize in catering. You can plan your event to take place in our banquet room, or we can cater your event at your location.
After five months of a relocation project, our GM took us here for a celebratory dinner. Firehouse came through or us. The food was great, hot & fresh. The upstairs room was private and very spacious. The ambiance of the late 19th century building was palpable.
I look forward to future dinners downstairs.

My husband and I have a tradition that when we go camping that we always go for ice cream. This is our place to go to when we are camping in Richmond. There is a great selection of ice cream. In the summer time on the weekend, there is usually very busy but the line moves quick.
