There are not a lot of great places to eat in Reedville, but the Crazy Crab is a good one. A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. Dining staff very talkative, and seems like they know just about everyone on the place (It is a family style restaurant!). Overlooks the river. Can't get a better view.

Chitterchats serves "Premium Hand-Made Ice Cream". Our ice cream is made one batch at a time, right here in Virginia. Stop in for a scoop or two, sundaes, millkshakes and other sweet treats. Pints are available for take out. Also serving coffee, tea, cocoa.
Went here with my family and got great ice cream and a milk shake. I would definitely go back again.

Pizza, Homemade Ice Cream & wide variety of fresh, made-to-order menu items, including hamburgers, hot dogs, crabcakes, taco salads, quesadillas, salads, sandwiches, kids' meals and much more. Adjacent to Wildest Dreams
Nothing special about the ice cream here. The flavors were weak and very sweet. I tried the coffee and strawberry ice cream. No discernible signs of strawberries anywhere and the coffee flavor was very bland. My husband ordered the butter pecan ice cream that was an very odd shade of tan.

Weekend getaway with the girls....we stopped at Jacey. The tasting was done at nice little tables rather than belly-up at the bar. Dee the chef/wine maker was the best. While wine sampling we were offered a menu of tantalizing tapas treats, and we ordered several to share. You must try the lamb chop...delish! Wines were wonderful. It will be a day of fond memories at Jacey Vineyards. Oh...don't depend on your GPS...it will take you through all the back roads. Enter from Rt 200.

Simply the best restaurant on the Northern Neck. Just got in a good IPA that I've been waiting for! Food superb: portions huge. Eat down by the bar. Great people, lots of fun. Key Lime pie: you need KLP to remain human!! Unbelievable. Hours very limited, days open very limited, seasonality very limited, never open during the winter and only a few days a week during the summers. Don't try and understand it, just go!!

The seafood sold here appears to be a mix of local, in-season fish, oysters and crabs and other seafood from various places that are not local. It's only open on Friday-Sunday and seems to have weekenders and daytrippers as its targeted customers. I've only been in 2-3 times because it struck me as having big city prices. Why would anyone buy Salmon or Mahi-Mahi here? I can say a quart of shucked oysters is competitively priced and that's all I've bought here. Shop around and you can do better for most items.

Tommy's specializes in Norther Neck seafood and steaks with a waterfront view of Cockrells Creek. We have indoor and outdoor seating, and rooms for small gatherings such as holiday parties, wedding rehearsal dinners, birthday parties and anniversary dinners. Reservations are recommended, but not required.
Visiting Virginia for the 1st time from the UK I wanted somewhere nice to take my American cousin for her birthday. After looking at the reviews "Tommy's" was the chosen venue. E-mailing from the UK we got a reservation and duly arrived for a much anticipated celebratory meal.
It all started so well, Dawn, our server for the evening got us some drinks and we pondered the menu. The place was busy and we congratulated ourselves on a good choice for the birthday meal.
I am afraid from that point it all went wrong, I don't know what happened I and never got to the bottom of it but basically we sat there for almost 2 hours before our main course food came. I did get a starter but my 2 companions got nothing, after asking we did get some bread. Dawn kept reassuring us that our food was next to come, but we had to endure others getting their food.
When it did come eventually the flounder was swimming in oil and really not very nice.
In fairness to the management they did waive the whole bill which was the correct thing to do but I really don't need anybody to pay for my meal and would have rather had a nice time on such an occasion.
Hopefully this was a one off as I believe there has been some recent changes in the kitchen staff but it is not a place that I would recommend.

Excellent food served piping hot by an outstanding staff. We go there once a week. While considered a Mexican restaurant, the food is not too spicy and they do have the automatic burger and fries for those not inclined to eat Mexican.
Finally, prices are very reasonable. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Best Fresh Local Seafood in the Northern Neck! Crabs, Crabmeat, Scallops, Shrimp, Fresh Fish, Fresh made Salads Daily. ABC On/Off
Our charter boat of 20 tied up to the dock at Cockrell’s Creek Seafood & Deli and we ordered lunch. I opted for the soft crab diner, which included to nice sized crabs. The meal came with french fries, cole slaw, and two hush puppies. The crabs wee lightly fried and tasty. Considering there were 20 people in our group they did a good job of processing the orders. There was seating inside for 16 and several picnic tables alongside the waterfront outside.
