Puttaparthi (IAST: Puṭṭaparti) is a town in Anantapur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Puttaparthi mandal of Kadiri revenue division. The original name of Puttaparthi was Gollapalli. The town is located on the banks of Chitravathi River which is a tributary of Pennar River, and is surrounded by undulating hills. While this small town may not have much to offer in terms of sightseeing, the place is a religious destination popularly known by the world at large as the birthplace of Sri Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and for the ashram which he founded, known as Prasanthi Nilayam.

Sai Towers has been in business since 1990. There are several facilities you could avail here - there is a restaurant, a handicrafts and memorabilia store and a book shop all located within the hotel premises.
All the 3 restaurants of this hotel are excellent, clean and nice service. You can eat really good western food on the roof top, north and south indian and asian food in the 2 other restaurants. plenty of choice

Location isn't great, need to walk 200 metres inside a narrow lane (opposite Prashanti nilayam) before you reach here. The View isn't great too. But the thing which really stands out is the food. The menu consists of North Indian Continental and Chinese cuisines , tried all 3 types..and each tastes wonderful.A must try if you are in mood for a nice meal in puttaparthy.

came to puttaparth with family and tried food at this place.they had two tiffins dosa and poori available when we visited. dosa was totally oily and did not taste anything like dosa. poori was made of adulterated atta, it was so hard and dry,if you eat this adulterated atta, you will lose your teeth, throat and digestive system . waiter was sneezing with same hand and was touching food with same dirty hand.i felt really really bad about these people, they don't have basic commonsense that how anyone can eat such food.these people think people who visit their restaurant are animals.
am from Anantapur, anantapur is bigger town than Puttaparthi and you will get better food for same price at hotel sujatha. Puttaparthi being such a small place and serving adulterated food at that price is unforgivable. i think food inspectors don't exist in India to check quality of food we eat.

This multi-cuisine restaurant blends the choicest culinary delights - special tandoor dishes, authentic North Indian, exotic Chinese, & classic Continental dishes with the very best service!
It is home to some of the most appreciated cuisines. Rich variety of dishes, top service and professional staff. The atmosphere is great. We are eat very good north Indian and Chinese dishes , like Gobi Manchurian or Paneer Tandoori ,and each time we were satisfied.

it has a nice spread of South Indian dishes for Breakfast, but serves continental as well. My favorite is the 'fry Dhal' for lunch...just so delicious and truly speaking, people from all over the town come to this restaurant to get it packed and take it home. Prices are reasonable and the hotel-rooms too are good. The place is just at the entrance of Puttaparthi town and after food a nice walk along the Collegeroad is just what 'the doctor discribed'...try it out.

This is similar to the old German bakery that was popular a few years ago. They still have the same feel and view, and pastries, just in a different location. Delicious croissants and ragi roll. Good South Indian coffee. Great fresh juices. great view from the balcony - you can watch life unfold in the main street below, and see Ganesh Gate. from what we've had, this deserves to be more popular.

The latest venture from the ever-innovating Sai Towers team. A beautiful space on the roof of the restaurant (take the lift to the top floor then up one flight of stairs), nicely furnished and intelligently arranged, with amazing views. You can even hear arathi from the mandir should you be up here at the right time.
There is a long and extensive menu – many choices including Italian food ... falafel... baked potatoes ... and so much more, everything we had was delicious and reasonably priced. I visited several times over the course a short visit and was always happy. The wifi is also good.
Highly recommended!

"We are what we eat" is their motto and this is what makes this restaurant so special. All dishes are prepared with love, good energy and using healthy ingredients.
This energy and light permeates everything. One feels happy sitting in this lovely restaurant. The decor is relaxing and fresh; the food is prepared and served by loving, smiling, happy, healthy people; Five Ingredients Tea comes with rose petals floating in the glass....mmm...sooo beautiful, pleases the eyes and the taste buds!; their coffees and cakes are delicious....I LOVED the chocolate cake! For the cakes, from what I understood, they use only wholewheat flour. AND, they bake their own yeast free Rye and wholewheat bread.
I particularly liked their various soups, specially a cold one they have.
All their dishes are great , but, my favourites would be the Ayurvedic Thali which is a big serving of wonderfully nutritious vegetables and salads and the Vegetable Wok.
To accompany the tea and coffee, apart from all the cakes, one can order scones with jam.
So, the food is nutritious and delicious, the service is the best, cleanliness and hygiene is ontop of their list and the restaurant itself is refreshing and peaceful. There are big windows that open up and one can sit there enjoying a meal or a cup of coffee while looking at the crowds below. Wonderful!! I wish I was there now!!
I was not only there once for lunch, but , many times, for breakfast, lunch, coffee and dinner!! And, I loved it!!
If you want to eat healthy and clean and in loving surroundings, this is the place to go...
