This cafe serves excellent food! It's just a shame that it isn't open at night because there isn't a lot of competition for The Tavern and I think the Wild Coast Cafe would give visitors an excellent alternative.

The type of cuisine is "Bistro or "tavern" with a variety of Bar meals. Breakfast,Lunch, Dinner. + Bar Snacks.8 Am 9 pm.
Reasonable food, though probably not great value, and there is little choice or alternatives around in the area

We had a very enjoyable dinner here. My starter was shrimp cocktail, fresh and delicate. My main was fish and chips and it was among the best fish and chips I've had anywhere. Dessert (specially made vanilla bean ice cream) and coffee were wonderful.

When in this area the choices aren't that many for a good dinner. So we decided to have a pizza evening at Panncake Rocks Café. It turned out well, the pizzas where really nice and the mix of traditional pizzas and more innovative fillings were nice.

Great coffee, sweet hot chocolate, soy, chai, tea, bacon/egg sandwiches, pancakes, pastries, cakes and slices - served up with cheeky local information!
we stayed with Lee and Andrew at their airbnb (off grid cabin) in fox river. what a magical spot along the wild west coast! I enjoyed a delightful flat white both days, at the Sunday Fox River market and the next morning at the fox river beach. more than just a coffee, Andrew is a pleasure to chat to and shares so much knowledge about living on the coast and things to do in the area. my daughter really loved playing with his dog peanut too :)
