Tucumán (Spanish pronunciation: [tukuˈman]) is the most densely populated, and the smallest by land area, of the provinces of Argentina. Located in the northwest of the country, the province has the capital of San Miguel de Tucumán, often shortened to Tucumán. Neighboring provinces are, clockwise from the north: Salta, Santiago del Estero and Catamarca. It is nicknamed El Jardín de la República (The Garden of the Republic), as it is a highly productive agricultural area.

We recently spent 3 weeks traveling through Argentina, we had many great meals, but this one was hands down the best, great atmosphere, the best waiter, best wine, by far the best food and a great price. Please add it to your website.
I have had dinner here several times. It´s a very reliable place for good meat. The bife de chorizo has always been perfect. The sallad buffet is very good compliment to the meat. Popular place, often very croweded. The only small complaint is the quality of the wine by glass. Most of the times it is very good but on some occasions has it been rather poor.

We were at the Hilton and the desk manager Rodolfo recommended this restaurant. The steak and service was excellent and would not hesitate to return. The restaurant is a short walk from the Hilton.
The location on the map is incorrect as the old location is shown along with the pictures. The location is at the intersection of Las Piedras and Prospero Mena. The phone is 4328050/4240133 according to the business card.

Restaurante Parrilla tipo Espeto Corrido
This is a wonderful place to eat an evening meal.
The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly and fast, the food is great, I really enjoyed myself. and the price was great.
I had a bife de lomo (filet mignon), pure de papas (mashed potatoes), and a great Malbec.
Los Negros is centrally located only a short taxi rides from most downtown hotels.
Next time I am in Tucuman, I will be back, and suggest it to any friends visiting the ares.

Just got there yesterday during Art Basel preparation.. Already full of people around! The place is really nice and modern. Service was excellent! Food was great and tasty. Really good for meat eater. Not really friendly for vegetarian, but the few dishes were excellent!

Enjoy freshly prepared favorites in a friendly yet trendy setting. The Restaurant "El Mercado" serves breakfast as well a la carte lunch and dinner. Our menu includes regional delights and international favorites.
We went to celebrate Valentine's Day. It started out well with a wonderful shrimp mango gazpacho. From there, it went downhill. The trout and the beef tenderloin were okay but certainly not exceptional.. The red velvet cake was moist but not extremely flavorful. The bill was out of sight. Very expensive and not a good value for the money but I thought perhaps we could somewhat justify the price by taking home my leftovers. Not so, they threw them away even after I asked for them to go.

Have eaten here many times as I have visited SM de Tucuman. Menu is fairly extensive with good service and a nice atmosphere. Really enjoy the different pasta and meat/salmon plates.

At Mora, the green of nature and the modern architecture get together to create a unique place, in which you will enjoy the authentic Argentinean contemporary food. A proposal inspired by the search of the purest flavors and the use of high quality raw materials, coupled with a selection of wines, are the perfect combination to enjoy a first class cuisine.
Fantastic food and service. It was not particularly busy but this restaurant is a hidden gem and the prices are extremely reasonable.(sirloin steak for £8).

The staff at Il Postino were exceptionally kind and courteous to this Spanish-impaired traveler. The pizza was very good and amazingly inexpensive by US standards. The rest of the food was OK but we returned for the pizza and the friendly service. Visited in 2009 and hope this review is still accurate.

I did some research about Tucuman and decided to choose this restaurant according to some reviews from here and also been far away from the new poshy area of Yerba Buena.
Resto 9 is inside of the Garden Park Hotel, with a side entrance, and has a typical local restaurant look. Nothing modern or flashy. The menu is not very long but with some interesting options. Service wise, the waiter was friendly and helpful but not very knowledgeable.
We had as an entrance the typical Empanadas from Tucuman, but the dough was a little bit raw. The filling was okay but not too hot. Maincourse was excellent, the pork matambrito was so tender and tasty that melt it in my mouth. Dessert was disappointing, first choice dessert wasn't available and the one that we had, the house dessert of some sort of Sundae wasn't good (ice cream low quality, brownie badly done and the chocolate chips was a crush Oreo cookie).
A little disappointing after all, but we didn't have so many choices around. Lots too improve.
