Located in northwest Italy’s Lombardy region, the province of Bergamo offers more than just a day-trip diversion from the big city of Milan. This hilltop town is known for its architectural gems, including medieval and Renaissance structures that continue to amaze tourists and locals alike. Don’t miss the historic Piazza Vecchia with its 12th and 16th century buildings. And Bergamo’s Galleria dell’Accademia Carrara is an art gallery featuring works from Italian legends including Botticelli, Titian, Canaletto and Raphael, to name a few.

Chiuduno is definitely a place worth to be visited uniquely for this restaurant . Halfway between Brescia and Bergamo this anonimous small town is home for a restaurant that will help you to be transformed in the old style of service and some of the most innovative cooking methods visible in Italy . The restaurant has very few tables, each one kept at a distance that will enable you and your guest not to disturb or being disturbed by other guests . Elegantly dressed with touch of uncommon elegance in details , the dining room opens to the kitchen where you will see the chefs preparing the food using molecular techniques . There are also two screens showing the same in the room and this is one of the few things that I did not like too much as , screens as Tv may be altering people's attention . There are three or four menu options half way mixing tradition ( here tradition is anyhow treated in a more updated methodology) and creations mixing art, design , structures and volumes that will take you into the third millenium food concept. Preparation , presentation , the quality of raw materials all is meant to achieve the best . You might have the tuna burger served as in afast food, the spherical melon and ham bites, a campari sugar glass closed composition of shrimps, burrata, anchovies etc to die for .
Amazing pasta , out of this world breads selection and a service lead by Carlo Pierato that will be hard to be matched in terms of attention, customer's minded approach and availabilty. Good and serious wine selection served at perfect temperature and in gorgeuous cristal glasses. If this place would be in a big town it will be a success, it is in Chiuduno , you need to drive and find it , but believe me it will be worth any cent you will spend there, It s not cheap but you won't regret . Kudos to all people working there as they really are dreaming and make customers dreaming.

Staying for a week at the Miramonti Resort in close-by Rota D'Imagna, we wanted a change of scene for dinner, and our hotel owner recommended this place and booked us in. It wasn't a great evening weatherwise, so although the restaurant has a nice outside Terrace, we decided to eat inside. It was also midweek, and it turned out we were the only diners that night, which was a shame. However, we could not have been better welcomed nor looked after by lovely Monica, the chef's wife - and don't worry about her English, she was great. The restaurant is beautifully homely inside, it's like being in someone's living room, with plenty of things to catch your eye, although there were also plenty of tables in a larger room at the rear. I'd love to have been there on a busy summer evening... We chose the tasting menu, I think this might have been 30 or 35 euros each, and the food was all delightful, and we weren't made to feel rushed at all. My partner asked for a different 1st course, as there was something on the al a carte menu he particularly wanted, and that was changed with no difficulty whatsoever. Good wine selection also, and we were offered a complimentary brandy to finish. The icing on the cake for us was that, as we wanted to have a few drinks, our hotel very kindly gave us a lift there, and Monica herself drove us back to the hotel - I'm not sure if this works on more busy evenings or times of year though! Absolutely recommend. A bit of local cooking with good ingredients and a high standard all round. Enjoy!

The concept of "Lombard tradition and creative genius" is the leitmotiv of Da Vittorio's menus, which are regularly updated and altered to keep up with changes in the market and in the seasons. The care, attention and exploration of culinary themes is kept wide-ranging to please all palates. The most diverse palates, personal tastes or culinary requirements can all find pleasure and innovation here: meat and fish, game and seafood, mushrooms and truffles, not to mention fruit and vegetables, all prepared with an original style that also takes into account the new frontiers in healthy cuisine.
Our visit to Da Vittorio was almost certainly the highlight of our trip to Italy. I do recommend this restaurants because its Michelin 3 stars, the fantastic ambiance, decor, atmosphere, dining.

Who would have imagined of having such a great experience in a lunch break in Dalmine? The place is a bit "hidden", as all good things you have to find them!
Staff very kind and professional, I tried casoncelli and rabbit with polenta. Excellent choice, very tasty and delicate flavour. I will definitely go back as soon as in the area. The quality / price ratio is absolutely convenient for the experience. 5 stars!

This restaurant is a little secret on the hills near Bergamo, a secret that is a pleasure to discover.
The two dining rooms have huge windows on the wonderful landscape of the area and that's already one reason to pay a visit. The restaurant has a really great staff that treats you like a king and the dining is definitely top quality. To add some more to this quality all of the ingredients are local and authentic local cuisine brought to the highest of standards.
I had the tasting menu that was composed of 2 entrees, 1 course of pasta, 1 course of vegetables, 1 course of meat, 1 pre-dessert (amazing) and a choice of desserts. Everything was served with great presentation and you could really tell how much research went into each course.
The prices are high but the quality is very high so it truly deserves a visit.

We ate here with a groupon voucher. The place is beautiful, airy and very modern. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Then regarding the food we ate really well indeed. It's a new uptake on Chinese fusion cuisine. All of the food was extremely well prepared and bursting with taste. The presentation is impeccable. The only thing i didn't quite like was the dessert but I saw that they also offer traditional Italian desserts but they weren't part of our deal.I will definitely come back as I had a wonderful culinary experience with great service.

Writing this review in English so to promote Val Brembana beyond our borders.
Spent 4 hours having a great lunch on a sunny day.
Many delicious starters, two mains, dessert, coffee and spirits at the end.
€35 is a honest price for such a big lunch.
A different approach to the valley's traditions, with an abundant fixed menu.
Would recommend it to anyone visiting the surrounding areas (Bergamo and Milan).
Just an advice: see if you can get some choice for the wine

Owner was so kind to prepare for us some more pizzas and focaccias to take with us free of charge.
