I thought Norske Nook had the best pies anywhere, but we stumbled across Myrtle's last weekend and she has them beat! The smoothest French Silk pie I've ever had, perfect crust, obviously everything homemade with real ingredients, including the lemonade. I'll detour to come by if I'm in the area again!

This is the premier coffee shop in Princeton, IL. Always has really good fresh coffee and tasty baked goods that vary daily. The decor, friendly staff and shabby chic furniture are extremely inviting. Strong encourage trying the toffee chocolate chip cookie.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident, and it was wonderful. It reminded me of a supper club restaurant. You can grill your own steaks or for 2.00 the chef will grill. They were delicious. We got a delicious baked potato and a big portion of broccoli. I mentioned to the waitress that it was my birthday. I was given an individual birthday cake and they sang to me. It was a wonderful experience all in all.

This was our second visit to Spoons (never got waited on the first time). The place was busy, but everything went like clockwork. The menu isn't extensive, but contains some unique offerings. The daily specials are a real bargain. The food and service were very good, and at a fair price. We'll be back!

Wait staff was very attentive. We had very good American food here. I love burgers and fries. I am gluten free and have other allergies as well. They were very attentive to those needs. The food came fast and the order was totally correct.
The restaurants very easy walk from the AmericInn hotel, which made it very convenient as well. There were plenty of people there in the middle of the week, which tell you both the locals and the visitors all have a great appreciation for the spot.

The sandwiches are huge, no skimpy portions here. There are dozens of sandwich options to choose from. Homemade chips come in a couple different flavors each day. Great soups daily too. The salad bar has a lot of different items to choose from too.

Having been here many times and never written a review I thought it was time I did!
Family style chicken is wonderfully delicious! Great ravs and those corn fritters!! UMMMM excellent
Prime rib was the special so I thought I would try it one more time at another place that I was told had great prime rib. Tasteless, tough, chewy but it was warm! I guess I just do not like prime rib and I will stop ordering it anywhere. My quest to find a great prime rib has ended.
Anyway the service was ok this trip, most trips the service is excellent! The home made desserts are fabulous.
All in all we will be back to dine at the Park Tavern again! We just will not order the prime rib!

We have eaten at several Culver's and they are all consistently very good. Wide menu selection, friendly staff and always clean. Butter burgers and milkshakes are the best. Only complaint about Princeton location is that it needs better signage for directions when exiting Rt 80.
