Stopped for a cool treat and a washroom break (yesterday), suggest that the owner/ manager address some issues! In my opinion our soft ice-cream cones were not up to the standards of most Dairy Queen locations! The ice-milk cones were so soft, it had no time to firm up & set!! Men's & ladies washrooms were not very clean, mens toilet was out of order! I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Menu: Owner operated Grab N Go - Bakery - Cafe - Bistro - Breakfast, Lunch, Espresso, teas, home-made soups, salads, paninis, hand made pasta, cheese plates and more with organic and vegetarian options. Artisan scratch baked bread and baked goods. Rustic. Street Patio. Ample street and grocery store parking. Kids park, dog walk and Tulameen River access.
I was here with my family last week after camping. Nice selection of souvenirs and soaps in a traditional building from the early 1900's. I loved the atmosphere and original wood floors. They even creak! We had the coffee and muffin special for $5. Nice strong French press coffee and a huge berry muffin not so sweet which was great for me. We also spilt maybe the best sausage rolls I have ever had. spicy and flaky pastry. They are a little pricy at $8 but I think worth it. Someone came by for donuts after we finished but they were sold out? Donuts? I'll be back for sure.....

Popped in for dinner, and due to warm weather went out on to the patio.....
Only place in Canada, in three weeks, where we weren't offered water (even the other pubs did!) and service whilst friendly was also quite absent. Menu wasn't great for someone like me who doesn't eat meat - and the dinner was decidedly average.

We serve breakfast all day. Open at 430am and close at 5pm everyday. Free parking is available at the Brown Bridge Pub next door. Great in house baked pastries, freshly made sandwiches, quiches, pot pies, salads - a healthy alternative to fast food. Licensed for liquor service after 11am. Seating indoors as well as in our front and back garden areas. Children, pets, everyone welcome.
I love this place. Very nice staff that are warm and friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit in for a chat or to work. I live the outdoor patio area too. The coffee is strong and is...MoreThanks Dale. I appreciate your comments - hope to see you back soon. (Cowboy Coffee is part of a small Canadian franchise - Bean Around the World. Our coffee is roasted in North Vancouver).

My wife and I stopped here for a quick and simple lunch while on a highway trip. We were welcomed by a waitress who told to sit anywhere that a table was clean and clear, so this was to be a very friendly, informal experience, as expected. My wife ordered a half portion chicken salad, while I asked for a tomato & bacon Sandwich and a cup of home-made mushroom soup. The salad was fresh, with varied contents and substantial for a half portion. My mushroom soup was excellent and the Sandwich was obviously just put together, and tasty. The waitress was attentive and checked with us twice during our short repast. All simply good, prompt, and convenient.

Have you ever driven into an unfamiliar town hot, tired and unsure of where to stop for dinner? Well, if you're ever coming through Princeton you've gotta try the Heartland. The Caesar salad was way better than I've found in many posh city restaurants; fresh and succulent romaine that tasted like it was just picked. Really refreshing. That was followed by a generous portion of baked spaghetti that rivalled my late aunt's recipe. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite so, despite being stuffed, I just had to savour their homemade apple pie. That was a great decision. So if your a hungry traveller and you find yourself in Princeton, check out the Heartland!

We offer a variety of Gluten Free options.
This restaurant far exceeded our expectations for rural location food. The pricing was not excessive, similar to that of good greek food in the Greater Vancouver area.
We had the chicken souvlaki and calamari dinner entrees. Both were excellent, cooked perfectly, large portions.
I would highly recommend this, well above average, Princeton restaurant, even if it were competing with the many restaurants offering similar food in Vancouver.

We were both craving a good clubhouse Sandwich so we thought we'd try this restaurant. We decided to split one and I'm glad we did, it was huge. Real Turkey and great fries. Very homey atmosphere and the server was very nice and polite. What a nice change from some Vancouver restaurants.
