Driving through Preston and we wanted to have lunch. A New York deli in Preston? Really? What a nice surprise. Though it's a bit confusing when you order (sandwiches on one side, restaurant on the other, but you can sit anywhere) the food was really good, the "service" very friendly and prompt. Loved their chips. It might be worth a drive to Preston to try this place again.

Stopped in here for lunch and got a couple hamburgers with my wife. They came with fries and the portions for the fries were large enough to feed two to three people. They were hand cut fresh fries and tasted great. The burgers were pretty good, as well. The facility is fairly new and the décor in nice and clean. It is attached to a gas station so it may not look like much from the outside but give it a try on your way thru.

Had the opportunity to have a nice little breakfast here... service was very good, quantity was good, however the quality of the food left a lot to be desired.... Felt microwaved and taste was a little bland. May go back but will order something different. Had the eggs Benedict.. Average at best.

We visit Big J's whenever we are in Preston. It is delicious! We don't eat fast food at home, but this is good. Our favorites are tater tots with cheese, fish sandwich, shrimp, lime squeeze, and the milkshakes. Don't forget the fry sauce! Lots of it!
This visit was a Saturday night at 9 pm and the place was packed! Everyone was in a great mood. The other customers were friendly, and by the time we got our food, a table opened up.
We are often driving 9 hours to Preston, and go straight to Big J's. I called ahead to find out how late they would be open and they said at least 11:30. I love that they stay open late if there are customers.
They have excellent customer service. Everyone is friendly, professional, and FAST! If there are more than a few cars in the drive through, they will go take your order in person in the drive through lane.
The orders are always fast and accurate.
It's great drive through or dine-in!

We didn't eat at la tienda but it has been recommended to me as being good. We use it as a gas stop, it usually has the best price in the area. We also use it as a liqour and beer stop, which it excels at!!! It has a very good selection and competetive prices.

Had breakfast with co-workers on a business trip. They do eggs & bacon EXACTLY the way you ask. Fluffy buttermilk pancakes. Good coffee. Huge lovely pillowy scones (the deep-fried variety). Really friendly service and food comes out fast. Why can't other places figure out how to do this? Basic diner atmosphere, clean, well-lighted. I'd happily eat breakfast there anytime.

Rustic restaurant nestled beneath a mountain cliff and the beautiful Cub River. Out door dining is available on the patio or sit inside by the picturesque windows.. Live music and dancing on Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 6 p.m.
The food here is good country basic: fresh trout, homemade baked bread, a fresh salad, no alcohol served, etc. But the view, during the summer months on the large patio, is beyond spectacular, with the rushing mountain stream, stark mountain cliff (often populated with goats), and crisp cool air.
I think that this is one of the most interesting places to have a meal in Idaho.

The food is fair, the place pretty dirty, service is quick. The doors freak me out because they are so covered with layers of finger and hand prints. many of the meals are under $7

Stone Baked Pizza, Famous Cheesy Breadsticks, Family Owned and Operated
there are several Pizza places in Preston and this is not my favorite. the pizza dough is on the doughy side and a little heavy for me. the toppings on the scarce side. it is nothing great, just been around the longest time in Preston. Salads are just ready mix in a bowl.

I'm grading on the fast food curve here.
You know, I was hungry and trying to make time on the road (like almost all other Americans).
I just needed a snack; got the Whopper Jr, and it was very good. Nicely made, the beef was cooked (you have to check) the lettuce, pickles, onions were fresh, the right amount of mayo; seems like there was mustard, but not sure. It hit the spot, for $1.50, no complaints.
Clean evironment (bonus for a BK in a gas station) and friendly folks working there, what more do you want out of a fast food place!!
