Tucked away on a side street, with the occasional car whizzing by the tables, this restaurant turned out to be better than expected. We had lunch here and it was tasty and authentic. Staff were very friendly although spoke very little English

Restaurant in the center of Potes, traditional food and handmade pizzas, we have a dining room and a spacious Terrace overlooking the Picos de Europa. We make menus for groups and travel agencies. Our restaurant is adapted for disabled guests and we have adapted service.

Our family had lunch at Martin's two times during our trip to Potes. It was an excellent choice. The menu is simple with traditional Spanish food. Everything we tried was perfection, even our kids liked it! Don't forget to order Canonigos for dessert..

Reached by a very old wooden staircase just by the main bridge, the surroundings for this traditional style restaurant are unique. It's a real treasure trove of pictures, photos, vessels of various types, hanging on the walls, arranged on shelves and between rafters, quite a location! The portions are large and hearty, with traditional dishes such as the local meat and chickpea stew complete with chunks of bone marrow as well as the more usual chorizo, pork and beef. Don't let that put you off! Very tasty. House wine very good too.

Lots of tourists in Potes so lots of restaurants in completion, particularly when we went off-peak season.
The food was fine, nothing special but plenty of variety both local and international.
Service was very quick, perhaps partly because it was off-peak but they seemed quite helpful. Strange that they seemed to have almost no English as it was very definitely an international location - fortunately my rudimentary Spanish was enough.
The food was nice enough - and the servings were large.
So, overall a decent place but not special.

This is a no-frills tapas bar-restaurant offering a range of basic dishes inspired by regional cuisine, but it's no gourmet destination. It's clearly popular with local workers, couples, shoppers. We had the 3 course menu of the day, together with coffee and a bottle of house rioja between us came to 11 euros each. The potatoes were home cooked but the frying oil was stale, and the chicken a bit too oily. The soup, salad and grilled tenderloin of pork were fine. Dessert can be missed as they only offer a tub of supermarket yoghurt or chunk of industrial ice cream.

I accidentally went to another Asador in Potes during my visit, looking for this one. Although the TripAdvisor references were glowing (I looked it up later) that restaurant had NOTHING on Llorente. I went at 10pm on a Sunday night (be careful to go upstairs not downstairs as I had very embarrassing incident where I booked at the wrong place then had to have my entree there out of embarrassment). No waiting required- there was a spare table. The service was quick and friendly. The red wine by the glass was good. They gave me a little appetiser of cheese which was lovely of them. The steak (chuleton) though, was superb. They did not ask me how I wanted it cooked and it came on the rare side of medium-rare. Someone from the kitchen came out to ask if it I enjoyed it the way it was cooked - although it was a little rarer than I would normally like, it was not a bother at all as it was such a delightful piece of meat. The chips were also very good (and not too many of them either). I had a creme caramel for dessert which was very nice. The waiter did look after me with the wifi as I was single so that was very nice of him. This will be a lovely memory of Potes.

The food was average and the server was nice but it seemed we were bothering him by being there. I'd eat here again if nowhere else was an option.

Las Mañanitas Potes is a traditional Mexican Restaurant. We want to offer you our authentic cuisine that's why all of our products are natural and home made, just like we do it in Mexico. We wish that our menu make you discover the authentic taste of Mexico.
With our family we had mexican food in this nice restaurant. It was just delicious, and we enjoyed very much. All plates were tasty, Deserts were great, all at a good price. The owner is a very pleasant person. I can recommand this place to everyone who wants to skip the tipical mountain dishes in this area!
