Porto Seguro is as vibrant as any part of Brazil. A schooner will take you from the bank of the city's Buranhem River 15 miles out to the Recife de Fora Marine Park for an exploration at sea. A city stairway will guide you up to the Cidade Historica to take it all in from above, alongside Capoeira demonstrations. And the Passarela Do Alcool, a street fair filled with craft carts, restaurants and enthusiastic performers will invite you to participate in Brazil's cultural tradition.

Villas de Trancoso Restaurant. Located on Nativos Beach, one of the most private stretches of beach in Trancoso, is the Villas de Trancoso Restaurant. Outside guests can make a reservation for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Villa's day begins at 8:00 am with our famous Brazilian breakfast... hot steaming Brazilian coffee, seasonal tropical fruits and juices, baked breads, cheeses, pastries and omelets of your choosing. At 10:00 am our beach bar comes to life. Guests are welcome to lounge under shaded palms while sipping their favorite Brazilian cocktail. At 12:00 our restaurant opens. Our chef may have a special for the day or you can choose from a wide selection of International and Brazilian favorites.
What a gem of an experience to spend the afternoon. Beautiful view, awesome beach, comfortable setting, combined with excellent food/service. I liked being able to eat either at the restaurant or right on the water. Come for lunch, then lounge all afternoon at the beach.

Comida mineira e baiana
Price is cheap but you get what you paid for!. If you want a quick cheap lunch this is fine,...for higher expectations this is not the best place to go

Welcome to PaoloPizza. Italian pizza rustic, nice, cozy and family located in the heart of Arraial D'Ajuda. Paolo Chief, creating special pizza with typical Mediterranean flavor and ingredients of Italian cuisine.
If you are not fan of Brazilian food, or just feel like having a very good pizza, this is the place in Arraial. We have visited it 2-3 times because it was the closest restaurant and first time we were very happy with the food. Big place, but at our visits there were maximum 2 more tables with guests. One guy was the waiter and cook in one person:), but everything was very ok. Open air preparations, perfect dough:)

There are three local women who run these street food stalls most days from 3pm until late, at the entrance to Trancoso's lovely Quadrado opposite to the church of Sao Joao Batista. They serve a typical Bahian dish of tapioca flour fried until it resembles a pancake (but without flour, egg or milk), then filled with a variety of lovely things. Savoury options include carne seca (sun-dried beef), cheese, aubergine purée and green herbs. Sweet versions include fried banana, cinnamon and condensed milk or Nutella. These are all prepared to an excellent standard of hygiene, are excellent value and should not be missed during any visit to Trancoso. I loved every version I tried!

Delicious food, cold beer, good service and great atmosphere. Best place to go for a bite by the river. I recommend you try one of their home made foccacia bread sandwiches.

With chairs, tables and all the typical aesthetics of the 50's American dinner, Gringo Burgers is known for having the best home crafted burgers (traditional and stuffed) as well as onion rings and breaded mozzarella sticks and special salads among other things. Great burger, the best in porto seguro. I will for sure come back here other times. Simple menu, quiet and central location, excellent food.

Hambúrguer normal sem nenhum segredo. Somente de sentar na mesa já te cobram couvert artístico, que na minha opinião é errado. Questionei ao garçom sobre o couvert cobrado e ele disse que estava escrito no cardápio em letras minúsculas. Comida boa.
