Local farms and waters are the inspiration for this New American restaurant that focuses on preparing menus using ingredients that change with each season. American microbrews and wines are carefully selected to pair with each dish our chefs create. Enjoy our House-Infused Artisanal Cocktails made with seasonal purees and fresh squeezed juices while overlooking the Long Island Sound on either the outdoor patio, upstairs seating or cozy lounge. Established in 2004 in Greenport, this Zagat top-rated restaurant for both food and service moved in Spring 2008 to Port Jefferson harbor.
We visit with friends in Port Jeff three or four times a year and at least one night of every visit we go to The Fifth Season because it is that good. We try different restaurants on the Island at every visit because we all...MoreThank you for your review Hillary! Happy Holidays and we look forward to seeing you again in the future!

Se Port Deli is a 5 star food establishment. There is something for everyone! All of the food is the freshest and they use the best ingredients. From sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salads, chicken fingers, side salads and desserts there is nothing that isn’t delicious. They also have the best fountain ice tea around!!! The biggest problem is deciding what to get each time!!! Se Port Deli is by far the best deli on Long Island!!!

Great flavorful choices, but often high in calories. It is, as always up to the choices of the consumer. My husband and usually choose green tea or plain coffee. I prefer not to drink my calories. I have become considerably more conscious of calories and fat content. They offer a good selection of snacks and treats, a few are nutritious most are delicious. I love the scones, pumpkin bread and banana bread, but no longer purchase them due to my awareness of the health problems of simple carbohydrates and refined sugars. They do offer an apple cheese and nut snack, which I have enjoyed. They appear to be kept relatively clean.

This place is huge, they have friendly staff and quick service. They even have dog treats/cookies. Very colorful place, not expensive at all & the ice cream was delicious. They also have all sorts of desserts and candies. Definately worth walking into even if you just want to look around. You will definately enjoy this shop.

Toast Coffeehouse is an innovative breakfast and lunch eatery with and artistic vibe located in the Village of Port Jefferson and the Patchogue Village area. All of this together makes Toast Coffeehouse an excellent place to dine for both the relaxed, elegant, & funky.
Service mediocre, food not special. What hair for my girl's birthday in the morning and order the eggs benedict which were very very runny. Tasted okay except English muffin underneath was not toasted. I don't know how you screw up an English muffin and forget to toast it but they did. Potatoes that came with the eggs benedict for Bland at best. You could tell they are using a high-quality potato but all you can taste is paprika and blandness. Cousin had french toast which she said was very good and fiance had pancakes which also were very good she said. No one came over during breakfast to ask us how everything was except for in the very beginning when only two out of three of us had gotten our food. They never came back to ask us if we needed a napkin or anything else which I definitely did because eggs Benedict is messy. They only came back at the end to ask if we wanted to check or anything else. Very mediocre experience at best will probably not be back

My friends and I enjoyed sharing a yummy crepe with chocolate chip cookie dough and cannoli filling and hot fudge on top. The quiet atmosphere allowed for good conversation to go with our coffee and dessert. This is a warm spot with lots of interesting dessert choices and interesting sayings posted on the walls to ease the guilt of such decadent food!

Port Jefferson's Favorite Restaurant for over 20 years We offer an eclectic Italian menu with some traditional Italian and some Asian twists. Romantic atmosphere, great friendly service and Great Bread!! Welcome to Pasta Pasta in the historic water town of Port Jefferson. Pasta Pasta in its 20th year in business has become one of the premier restaurants on the North Shore. More than just PASTA; executive Chef Steven Sands and his talented staff offer a diverse menu featuring chicken, steak the freshest fish available and of course our innovative pastas and pizza. Decorated in the casual and comfortable style of a Tuscan villa, the dining rooms boast light wood accents, vases filled with fresh flowers, candle-lit tables, antique mirrors, framed art prints and gracefully draped curtains.
We stopped in for a late lunch and had a nice meal. We tried the Turkey sandwich, chicken Caesar (which has a lot of chicken) and the lobster bisque which were all above average. We also had fries and they were good! Nice local place to stop in for a casual lunch.

Every time we drive to visit my brother on the north shore of Suffolk County, LI we MUST stop here for ice cream. The ordering window is at the far western end of this shopping center. We study all the many flavors, select a "single scoop cup" and are served by friendly young folks. The single scoop is quite large - especially for only $2.50.
When there are lines they move rapidly.
We then keep walking west to the water run off channel for Port Jefferson (about 50 ft.), where there are wooden benches, sit down and savor the great ice cream.

So, this is NOT a place to go for a business lunch....but if you're looking for funky atmosphere, friendly service and really good vegetarian food, this is the place to go. There is an amazing variety of menu options and the prices are quite reasonable. Eat in or take out.
