We ate here twice, not beacause we loved it so much, but because the pizza was very good and the meals were consistent and convenient. I had the 4 cheese pizza-very good the first night, OK the second night. The kids liked the pasta. Service, like in much of this island, is never great. The fruit drinks are always good. Conveniently located in the shooping mall.

Went there with some locals while visiting Margarita Island and the place was full for lunch on a weekday. Service is professional and prompt while the décor reminds you of an average modern restaurant in Italy...nice but no big deal. I had the chupe de gallina and can say that it was probably one of the best I've ever had. Also had a chance to taste the minestrone they had prepared for the next days menu and it was also outstanding. They only have chupe on Thursdays so check with the restaurant before hand. Then I had the roasted pork and I would say that it was good tasting but not superb. Any Cuban or Puerto Rican version would run rings around their pork. They also served the portion with about four puny boiled potatoes which tasted old if they tasted at all. Furthermore, whoever cut the portions should go back to butchering school. I kept finding little pieces of bone in the meat which is a sure sign of poor butchering and distracted from the dinning experience. As far as I am concerned, the jury is still out on Dolphin.

Haunted by the general shortage of everything in Venezuela in these days, almost every one of the dishes has an ingredient substituted by something else. Taste is ok, service is average Venezuelan hospitality and whoever knows a bit about Venezuela knows what that can mean. Compared to a full meal it is rather expensive.

I have visited this place since I was 4 years old when we went to Venezuela annually and we would always go about 6 times every December. The place is air conditioned to high hell, it is ALWAYS packed. For a reason. The waiters are always great with people despite being busy, bread is always on the table straight away to keep people occupied whilst food comes, and it is not expensive either. For us westeners, you can spend (used to be £5 per person back in 1997 to maybe £15 per person now) and have a great meal including desert and drinks, beers etc. And the strawberry frappe (slush puppies) is awesome! I would happily have 3 of them as a kid on top of Pabellon which is a traditional Venezuela dish comprising of shredded meat, rice, black beans and plantains. The steak is not THAT brilliant but at least you know you can eat here and always have a great experience. Paintings all over the place. There is a TV that is an old style one at either end usually showing baseball that my dad would sometimes glance at and comment. Tables are quite close together too with the layout being three columns and when you arrive if it is full up you usually wait in the isles or wherever you can and it's fine. The waiters will acknowledge you very quickly. There is parking nearby for those driving too at the end of the street near the river or a block away. you MUST visit this place if you go to Porlamar. Deserts are great here too! It's a 5 star establishment for what the island is. GO GO GO GO GO!!!!

This restaurant is one of the most popular places to eat in Porlamar, Margarita Island in Venezuela. They always have fresh fish and seafood dishes, also paella and spanish rice with seafoood. Some of the best fish or seafood are a little expensive. Good service. Very noisy specially at noon, best time to visit after 2 pm.

Local de único ambientes 200mt2. Romántico, elegante con lounge y hall Music Piano. Área externa con vista al mar con terraza con solárium para tomar sol. Ambiente único caracterizado por una clientela internacional. Estilo Made in Italy
Even in the crisis Venezuela is facing nowadays, this place offers exquisite dishes.
We followed tripadvisor's recommentarions and made a reservation to happily discover this place.
Try the Insalata Gaia, a wonderful mix of lettuce, parmigiano, champignons, carrots and figs!
You must have the panna cotta con nutella as a dessert!
Highly recommended!
