The Sandbar is a full service sports bar and restaurant looking out to Mana island. We offer great pub food, pizzas and bar snacks.
This is a pretty average pub. The beer selection is fairly
Iimited. The menu has a reasonable selection but I didnt enjoy my braised beef. They added so much spice to it that the heat was too much and overpowered the juicy tender beef. Partner had the eggplant lasagne. He enjoyed it but the portion size was very small.
If this is your local pub its probably ok, but I wouldnt stop here specially.

What a great find in Porirua! The staff were really welcoming and it is a big spacious cafe. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast and it was unbelievably good! Corn waffles, avocado, poached eggs, tomato and halloumi - very tasty and fast service.
Coffee was great too. I will definitely be back.

Afternoon tea visit and had the best caramel tan square ever with cookie dough on top. Yum. Sat outside in the sun after a walk along the beach. A great spot

The Whitby Co-Op Kitchen and Bar, made for the community, by the community.
I tend to go to the co-op most weeks after work or with family.
I have to say that the increasing reputation around town is that the service is just diabolical.
The staff can often be seen just chatting to each other and not at all interested in their customers.
Last night I again had to ask a staff member to serve me, what do they think they are their to do?.
The only consolation is that given he incredibly high staff turn over, some new faces will soon appear, and maybe they will be better.
Interestingly I heard a guy saying that his group no longer go to the co-op and now go to D4.
They have a captive market and just don't seem to care, even the furniture is grotty and falling apart.
It could do so much better and be so much better.
Please sort out our local as It is just now embarrassing to take guests.

We arrived to celebrate my brothers birthday, there was an ample menu and the service was quick. We sipped on our drinks first, a latte for my husband and a flat white for my brother and a feijoa drink for me. The meals arrived together and were well presented. My breakfast was yummy, the eggs just right and the bacon and kransky sausages lovely. My brothers corn fritters he found nice and my husband was contented with his pizza bread. We were all full and found the atmosphere nice and airy, with a duck waddling through the car park and cool air surrounding us.

The food at Natraj was hot and tasty but I wouldn't suggest driving past other Indian restaurants in order to eat here. They have a very small, basic dining area (3-4 small tables) but they are licensed to sell wine and beer to dine-in customers. Service was fine and there was plenty of parking outside the restaurant.

We (4 adults) dined on a Saturday night and found the service to be very friendly and efficient. But the food was "out of this world" in every aspect!! We could not have asked for anything to be better than it was.

Love popping in here for my daily caffeine fix! Fast service, excellent Flight coffee, lovely friendly staff, reasonable prices. Although famous for their cheese scones, I find the muffins are delicious, with an ever revolving selection of flavours baked daily (I've pretty much tried them all, and can highly recommend them!) The empanada's are tasty also, a good lunch option. El Porteno fills a niche in Tawa as a small surburban cafe with character.

This place is very popular so nest to order ahead otherwise you can be waiting a while. Not the cheapest around but the fish and chips are good and they make big burgers. Friendly service. Only criticism of my enormous Bacon and egg burger was that the bacon was more ham than crispy bacon.
