Being from San Diego, my expectations for good Mexican food is high and Joel’s always comes through when I need a good Mexican dish. Service has always been friendly and have never had a bad or even mediocre meal there. Highly recommended!

Located at the base of Schweitzer Mountain Resort you will find home-style comfort food, made with high-quality ingredients, served in generous portions, all at a reasonable price. Add 20 (4K) televisions for great game viewing and a full bar and you’ve found the recipe for Sweet Lou’s success.
This is a great place to meet friends coming down from the Schweitzer Ski Resort and next to a nice hotel. More bar type offerings than a usual pub and even more restaurant standard fare. Lots of TV's well placed, nice rustic log setting, many...MoreThank you for your business and review! We hope to see you after many Schweitzer trips to come. If your travels bring you back our way in the summer, we'd love for you to join us then too!

Very friendly folks working here, but, hey, it's in a Safeway. The grocery store locations never quite measure up... But that said, it's a half hour drive to the nearest Starbucks in Sandpoint! So if you want Starbucks, come on in.
For better coffee, try Under the Sun. Great espresso drinks and drip coffee.

They make their own ice cream from scratch. Flavors change regularly. Have an Evans Brothers coffee to go with the cone. The waffle cones are mad right in front of you. Great group of servers and the best ice cream you will ever taste. Watch out cause it is addictive!

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years visiting my parents who lived in Sandpoint. Heather is the proprietor of this restaurant and she make the most delectable soup ever! Her pies are excellent as well. I've never eaten anything that wasn't scrumptious. Just know she doesn't take credit cards and prepare to pay with cash. You will not be disappointed!

This cafe is not fancy but our meals were great. Not greasy and perfectly prepared. The server was pleasant and efficient. We were directed here by a local who was adamant that this was "the best place in town for breakfast" - he actually redirected us as we were going into another place!

Baxters on Cedar is an Up Scale Pub serving American Cuisine. From our half pound burgers and local farm salads to the Fresh Wild Halibut. We use the freshest local ingredients when ever possible and we are here to serve you as our guests! Give us a try... you will love it! Rich and Tommy your hosts.
This is one of the most consistent, high quality restaurants in North Idaho. The Lamb sliders are exceptional as is the lamb when on the menu. As Baxters is a small place, the menu changes frequently. There is usually a fish or vegetarian entree special. Not a place for Gluten free. The bar downstairs is a great cozy place to hang prior to your meal.

If Spud's is one thing, it's fresh. Fresh in the sense that we make everything from scratch, from every dressing, sauce and chutney, to elaborate soups and outstanding desserts. Spud's is also fresh in the sense in that our classic menu is continually reinspired by worldly flavors, regional style and seasonal ingredients. We adore the sophisticated touch of the West's best restaurants, and honor the casual comforts of small town North Idaho. Located in picturesque downtown Sandpoint, Idaho, Spud's Waterfront's reputation extends beyond the shores of Lake Pend Oreille as an excellent restaurant for locals and travelers alike. Dock your boat on the boardwalk, bike up from the beach, pull in on your way to the mountain, walk in before catching a show at the Panida.
Good basic food and a nice view weather permitting. Sandwiches and soup is best, very good in fact. But surprisingly for an Idaho restaurant named Spuds, the potatoes are just ok - but really nothing to brag about. I'll go again it's a tough place...MoreHi MrsFrisbe - Thank you for your nice review. We agree, parking can be tough. You get to "stroll" through town. Thanks for coming in. Hope to see you again soon.

This is the first mexican restaurant we have gone to here. Going to jalapeños tomorrow. The restaurant is in the home depot parking lot across from Walmart. Most of the staff and cooks are mexican. No complaints on the taste of the food. The menu is very large but the portions for the combos seem small compared to other mexi restaurants. They do have "mondo" plate combos that looked large. I had a taco salad. Mostly salad, no beans and it was smaller than tbells. It was like $2 worth of stuff for like $8 or $9, can't remember. Hubby had the #12 which was three things; a tostada, chili reano and an enchilada. No beans or rice, just the 3 things so more like an appetizer then a meal because it was all smaller then what we are used to. We stopped at tbell on the way home to get more food. The restaurant is clean and the staff very friendly. You get chips and small dips when you sit down, but end up asking for more 5 minutes later. The prices were good, like I think if you just go in and order the mondo plates and plan on spending $45 for two it will be worth it. It's kinda cramped for kids at dinner time.
