I like this place because you can make your burger as big or small as you want. Different kinds of fries, GF options, and according to my grandkids the best milkshakes. Nice little local place to have lunch.

This is your last chance for Starbucks if you're on your way to Tahoe. Located inside Safeway this Starbucks does stay pretty busy. You can still use your starbucks gift card but you can pay with the smartphone app.

We ate here based on others' reviews and we were not disappointed. We sat out on the back porch and were greeted promptly. We were looking for just a small meal and ordered tacos a la carte. They were delicious! The menu is large and varied and everyone around us mentioned to the waitress how much they enjoyed their food. It's one of the only places to eat in Camino and it is very good.

With so few restaurants in this rural area, it's hard to believe that one is really good! Gold Vine Grill would be great even if it had to compete in the gourmet ghetto! The choices are excellent and very well prepared; the service is down-home friendly; the prices are quite reasonable. And the wine -well, this is wine-country so the choices are wonderful.
We went there two nights in a row!

New business in town. Run by veterans so it is on my go to list. Good alternative to P{pizza Factory, as the price for the similar pizza is less than half the price.

Considered Pollock Pines, but menu shows address as Camino. Location: First Pollock Pines exit US Hwy. 50 East toward South Lake Tahoe.
We had a delicious meal at this historic restaurant. I had the prime rib sandwich and it was simple but tasty; beef, cheese, grilled onions on sourdough toast. All the flavors, including the toast combined to make a satisfying meal. I also had a bowl of chili and it was some of the better chili that I've had. I also had a taste of the clam chowder (excellent) and the barley soup (very good). Their chocolate mousse dessert and chocolate suicide cake were not made there, but they were very good. Our server was very friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed. The real star of the show here, though, is the owner. She's a Korean woman who has owned it for about three years. It's clear she has built up a loyal following as she greeted many locals by name. This is a convenient stop just off Hwy 50.

CT has always been good since Chuck opened it and not must sticks around for long in Pollock. Since Chuck died and the new owner has taken over, it even went up another notch. Love the addition of Mexican food to our little town. Clean with good service.

Went with a group for a Sunday Brunch. We had two egg choices, a wonderful Tri-Tip Scramble or a Mushroom/Potato Quiche, Sausage, Bacon, Potatoes, Fresh Biscuits, Fresh Fruit Bowl, Mini Muffins, a Crumb Cake or Cookies for Desert, an open coffee bar kept the coffee & tea flowing before, during, & after the meal.
Wonderful mountain ambiance in a modern log home. Besides the late week, weekend restaurant operation they are also a catering service, and events center known as Sierra Banquet Center. It would be a great place for a late Spring outdoor wedding.. They have outdoor tables available during fair weather. Ample parking on the grounds.
With the help of a mapping program you can drive right to their door.
I'd be delighted to go back if my grooup schedules another brunch there, or if i"m in that area looking for a meal..

We enjoyed their special of the day pork ribs. They were so good and falling off the bone. Yum. We had them with a baked potato. I had a cup of soup to start.
We enjoyed house burgundy wine. They also served complementary bread.
The food was very good and so reasonably priced.
Service was friendly and very good.
Decor for a steak house is average, but for the food, prices, and service, its a good place to go.
