This big resort—the largest on Gran Canaria—was developed in the 1960s specifically as a tourist area. And all types of tourists have found it. LGBT travelers, families with kids, au naturel sunbathers, honeymooners, groups of young singles… there’s a spot for everybody on the beach here (and a hotel or apartment for every budget).

The chef surely knows how to cook a steak, great flavor, tender and juicy. Affordable prices for excellent food and service. Waiters are friendly and very attentive. Lovely atmosphere and nice flatware, And the flambé is a great feature to look at. Definitely not the last time I'll visit savoy.

Welcome to our restaurant, Il Duomo di Milano, leader in Italian cuisine in Gran Canaria. Our first restaurant, Milano, opened in 1983 on the Avenida de Tirajana in Playa del Inglés. You can now find us in San Agustín, where We have been established since 1997. We specialise in quality service and the attention to detail which will make your dining experience a special occasion. Our restaurant has an open air garden and Terrace where you can enjoy eating 'al fresco' in Gran Canaria's warm climate. All these features combine to make Il Duomo di Milano a favourite among its clients. We look forward to welcoming you to our restaurant.
Staying half board in San Agustín decided to try somewhere different. Discovered the I'll Duomo by accident. Pleasant courtyard location. What luck! Very interesting hospitable staff. Great food.
Had prawn and salmon tagliatelle and sole in white wine. Both superb. Had to try the tiramisu. Didn't disappoint.
Highly recommended.

We are a tapas restaurant bar ideally located within the heart of the Yumbo Centre in Playa del Inglés (Gran Canaria) and aim to offer an imaginative mix of quality Spanish and international tapas and a balanced selection of Spanish wines at competitive prices. We look forward to seeing you!
Came here on our last holiday having been sent on a recommendation and booked twice for this holiday. Tucked away amongst large restaurants this small tapas restaurant is once again high in service with some great tapas dishes and specials daily. A definite visit if in the area but booking is wise. Keep up the good work !!

We offer top Canarian cuisine with oriental touches and seasonal products. Our restaurant is a small, fresh and modern place with a vibrant changing seasonal menu paying great attention to details. We also highlight our great balanced wine list which includes representation of all designations of origin Spanish.
We had a reservation but weren’t really noticed when we arrived and felt a bit lost for a while. But after we were guided to our table, we really liked the atmosphere and overall surroundings.
First we ordered drinks, a versions of mojito and caipirinha. Both, but especially the caipirinha, were really too sweet to enjoy, we could not finish them during the whole stay. We had to leave them half full at the table when we left.
For food, we were recommended to order three courses for two, which we did. Our order contained a ceviche, strawberry salad and lamb tacos.
Ceviche was good and nicely balanced, though nothing special to make it stand out. The salad had really nice strawberries, especially considering the season, but it was over-sweet with palm syrup. It was not an accident, but seemingly meant to be. When we mentioned it, we got explanations instead of consent. Tacos were very plain and lacked any twist the menu promised to make them special. The three course weren’t very much for a two, so if you’re hungry, we’d advice you to consider more. We also ordered some water, which we never got.
Being quite disappointed to so many things we did not dare to try the dessert, but settled for a coffee, which was average.
So we left with mixed feelings and even a bit hungry. It felt like a good try but no success. For the price you really should get something better. Probably we won’t go back and won’t recommend this to our friends. Sorry.

Contemporary spanish cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere, cozy inside dinning room and panoramic Terrace. We do not have children menu.
A lovely restaurant. Excellent staff. At 25 euros for the set menu was good value and the wine was reasonable. Sadly the food was disappointing. The Foie Gras had come straight out of the fridge and was very cold. Thus the flavours did not "come...MoreDear debate h. We are sorry to read your opinion. We are not used to receiving comments like yours. We hope to see you again at Restaurante Calma Chicha and have a new opportunity to get to know each other better. Kind regards.

Restaurant Copenhagen by Hannibal is a small and cozy restaurant, which specializes in Danish, Scandinavian and international cuisine. Gay owned-and-operated, we welcome everybody from families with children, couples looking for a romantic evening and groups of friends for dinner before the night of fun at the local Yumbo Centrum. While Danish cuisine might sound foreign, it's really not. It's homely and filling, and always a little surprising, for those who are new to it.
Been here now lots of times and is one of the things I look forward to the most when coming back to Gran Canaria it is always my first place to eat when I get here and the last da if the holiday I have to come back for tea.
Both Henrick and Bjorn are very welcoming and make everyone feel like they are visiting friends.
The meals in here are a must visit my favourite is now so hard to choose as everything really is perfectly flavoured and leaves you wanting more no matter how full you are.
Today I had the lovely leek and potato soup this is so amazing followed by bbq pork tenderloin as you can see the food very well presented and tastes better than it looks. If you are wanting to visit in my opinion the best restaurant in playa you will not be disappointed

Maná 264 is a bar-restaurant created by Rey Rodríguez, enthusiastic and enterprising young man with a large experience in this sector. Located in the south of Gran Canaria, exactly in the CC YUMBO it's objective is make of this bar a reference point in Maspalomas becoming a meeting place where high quality and good service are the main features. At Maná 264 you will be able to enjoy a delicious pincho for free with your drinks, besides good wines, Iberian ham "Pata Negra" hand sliced by a professional, assorted tapas, cocktails and attractive Gin Tonics with dry ice, and all this in a modern and friendly ambience.
Was recommended by a local bar man and also we had read good reviews. Friendly welcome and interesting menu liked it so much we eat here twice during our short stay, can recommend the secret pork, entrecôte steak, gambas with Iberian pork, many of the staff are from Cuba and all were helpful, approx €70 for two including starters beers and a few glasses of wine

Saturday lunchtime visit with partner and family friend who lives locally and made the recommendation.
Partner had steak in a peppercorn sauce cooked exactly to her preference, friend had fish on skewers, again perfect whilst I had days special of monkfish perfect.
Snr Antonio was an attentive and a good host.
We were a little late, a Scandanavian party came after us but there was no rush to meet the afternoon closing time.

A restaurant with a modern Mediterranean cuisine, changing menu every seasons. Unfortunately NOT adapted to Young kids or families with strollers. Located in the right side of Yumbo center (above La Bulle bar or Under Esprit boutique)
Fantastic service and dishes created with an extra effort. The food has often
a twist, like the beef cheeks that has been baked for hours. Some might find the menu rustic but the quality overall very high and not what you might expect at jumbo center.
The restaurant decor is simple and clean. A must go-place if you are a foodie!
