I had visited this Venture in the Past two years as well as their location in Middletown on several occasions and unfortunately never have find the time to write a review.
Well today is the day….
The place is located in Southington on a small Plaza right on the CT Route 10. There is a Universal Parking on site, small outdoor Patio, Bar with Counter seating and a separate Dining Room. Modern décor and appropriate music and lighting create a nice atmosphere. Service is very good, courteous and fast.
The Food and it presentation is fabulous and Tapas are awesome.
As I had visit the Venture before a few times along a two years window, I’m entitled to say they are very reliable. The place to go when you’re looking for a Spanish Restaurant in town.

After waiting 35 minutes to be seated on a Sunday night (we were seated at 6:05pm)
We were so excited to eat. The food was delicious as always, but there was clearly a problem.
The restaurant has gotten so popular the place is CLEARLY understaffed. We felt so bad for the servers seeing them all struggling to keep up with the flow of demand. Also they ran out of French fries they didn’t have any-more left. That is how busy they are now….it does not matter what time or day you go you end up waiting and seeing how over worked these servers are.
We really wish they would just hire more staff and open the back banquet room (in the back of the building) on such busy nights. If they did that though that means they would HAVE to hire more staff, and more staff means making less money for the business as they would have to pay more.
I just wish it wasn’t so crowded all the time now. We use to go 3 times a month, but now we only go for special occasions its not worth the rush and crowds anymore.

Stopped in to get a pie for a friend's birthday and had to try the macaroons! Didn't know they served meals there, too! Stopped back for breakfast (and more macaroons!) and was very pleased with the delightful menu selections. Had a wonderful Bolo scramble with a delicious blueberry muffin. Can't wait to bring my wife for a nice breakfast treat, and of course, more macaroons!

Harvest Bakery is in nice local Hometown Bakery if that's your thing they have all of your seasonal and holiday Specialties it's conveniently located and pricing seems to be fairly decent I've only personally gone in once or twice for some things my kids needed for school and it seemed as though it was well priced and everything baked freshly I would suggest perhaps a remodel of the bakery itself it seems a little outdated in the front end aspect which may make people think that it's not as clean and fresh as the products are.

Thai food is a good choice when you're in a city you don't know, because it's generally so reliably good. Unfortunately, despite all the glowing reviews I've seen here, I found the meal here to be "just okay". Things sound good on the menu...then the actual food arrives. I was with two other friends, and had the chance to taste what they'd ordered as well as my own selections, so I don't think it was just my dish. Maybe the chef who's usually in the kitchen was out the day we visited? Well, whatever the reason, I was not impressed enough with what I tasted to want to return. The decor / atmosphere could be described as minimal. The service was friendly enough, but despite there being nearly as many servers as customers when we were having our lunch, there were lengthy lapses when I couldn't even catch anybody's eye, which is a bit of a peeve of mine.

Had the spinach patch pizza for lunch and it was great. Good service and the manager John stopped by the table to make sure everything was good.

Mangiafico`s Bakery is primarily a take-out business though they do have a small sitting area to enjoy some Italian pastries with coffee or espresso. They have fresh baked goods prepared daily ranging from breads, cakes, stuffed breads, cannolis, assorted cookies, etc. You are certain to satisfy your sweet tooth with so many Italian choices.

This was out first visit to Pagliacci's. A friend told us about the place, and we thought why not? Why not? I have no reason as to why you would not dine here. It was Rocambolesco (fantastic) We made reservations for 5:30p and upon arriving it was so busy we had a short wait; which was well worth it as we were seated in a booth (our preference) The restaurant is large and it appears, always busy. Our waitress Cheryl was very pleasant and most helpful to guide us for a first visit. (they have regular menu and daily specials; it was suggested to order off the specials as the regular menu will always be there) What did we eat? Just about everything. We began with pre-drinks (large in size and moderately priced; 2 martini's) ((Salute!)) During the apericena (drinks with any free food) we were served house made Italian bread and garlic bread. Suggest you hold off it you get full quickly. Then we were served pasta fagioli soup (came with our meal; either soup or salad) and it was exceptional and filling. My husband ordered calamari with pasta (homemade pasta) and I had the chicken franchise over spinach (spinach was a special request and they seem to have no issue with any special request and will accommodate them easily; please, when seeking a special request, expect an upcharge and we had two added to our total bill; but honestly, well worth it) with a side of homemade ravioli. To sum up the chicken dish...conosco I miei polli (I know what I am talking about here) it was superb and exceptionally prepared. Excellent flavor and just the right amount of sauce. Ravioli's are as if we were in Italy. As if we were not sufficiently full, we had to see what the desserts were all about (anything for my followers that appreciate a good detailed review!) We ordered the Tartufo (vanilla, chocolate ice cream with black cherry and almond dipped in dark chocolate) ((Need I say more?)) Along with the dessert I also had the Italian Amaretto coffee (hit the spot) Total cost? $100.00 with enough leftovers (that you will actually eat and not feed to the dog) ((Note, we only feed our dog premium food, and I'm not sharing!)) for another 1 or 2 meals. The food was cooked so exceptionally well that the leftovers will still taste like perfection. We left the restaurant feeling a bit of abbiocco (drowsiness following eating a large meal) and made sure to compliment our waitress Cheryl (who we will request on our next visit) and the chefs. The only negative to the entire dinning experience is that their website plays beautiful Italian music and in the restaurant you will find NONE. The ambiance could use Italian music as the noise level is high; and due to the large restaurant can feel a bit cafeteria-ish; but, it's casual so come as you are and mangia!
