Our group of 9 all enjoyed their various dishes, most of which were fish. My tuna was very good, but not amazing. The rice side was pretty good. The courtyard setting and outstanding service made for a good experience.Estimate rk821 Thank you for the commets, please let us know what can we do to make that dish great for you, that is our main goal. Kind regards,

I went on a Friday evening and the restaurant was empty for half my meal until one other table arrived, only to order off the separate Italian food menu. Maybe lunch is the time to be there? The green tamale was rather dry (I recommend trying them in nearby Catacaos instead) and so was the chavelo. The flavor of the chavelo was good and the portions pretty big and filling. Good location just south of the plaza de armas. Algarobbo (local tree) pisco cocktail was interesting but not cheap.

I ordered ceviche (rawa fish salad) and pescado a la chorrillana (fried fish in onion and tomato source). Th fish is very fresh. I saw neighbor tables requesting for fish and the waiters brought fresh fish (killed, unfrozen) to show before it was cooked. I went there at the hotel and taxi driver's recommendation. They said that the fish is purchased daily from the nearby fishing village.

It's mostly a local food restaurant, so if you're looking forward to getting a taste of Peruvian cuisine this is definitely a good place to do so...
If you want something a little spicy try the " tacu tacu " which is basically "arroz Moro" (Cuban) but spicy as I said, but not to much anyway.
Everything I've tried from the menu it's been good so far, also the prices are ok, so basically you get what you pay for!

They opened around 5 locales around Piura. We visited El Chalan in Avenida Grau. The Staffs were friendly, also let you taste their ice cream (for example Imperial ice cream = Vanilla flavour ) you may buy 1 scoop with mixed flavours. Also Hamburger, Sandwich, Coffee, Cakes were available.

A colleague, Chinese Peruvian took me there. I ordered lichi fish. It is sweet and sour fish fillets with onion, bell pepper, pine apple and lychee. I give it 5 star. We also had fried rice and steam chicken. Price include soda was about $25 per person.

Its outside the downtown, interesting variety of dishes, from hewn cuisine local to fresh rolls and sushi. You have be patient because some times is crowded. The service is very slow.

We went there for dinner, our Waiter was friendly. The food that we ordered (Lomo Saltado con salsa Champiñones and Lomo Saltado) and the dessert (Chocolate Baileys) were delicious. Took awhile to serve the food. Wifi available. Suggestion: will better if the menu presentation with hard cover folder.

Service was excellent. Food was great. Prices are within the expected. The only annoying thing is the loud music coming from the bar above the restaurant.

I was introduced to the chef here a few weeks ago who immediately asked me what I would like to have for my meal. I did what one does in the presence of a great chef, I let the chef decide what he preferred to...MoreNo hay mejor expresión ;)
